Play group - We love Mike and most importantly so does our temperamental dog. They arrive by 9 and drop our dog at 2 which means we come home to a tired and happy dog. They are easy to get a hold of if we need to change our weekly schedule which is awesome. You can't beat the price!
Boarding - They pick up and drop off our dog for boarding which is super convenient for us. Our dog always comes back happy! We cannot complain at all.

I contacted them via Angie's List on October 28, 2013. It is now January 5, 2014, and I have heard NOTHING AT ALL BACK from my inquiry. Certainly, if a business is going to list themselves here, they need to be responsive to inquiries. For example, I contacted a home cleaning service, and received a response within HOURS, and I hired them! Very, very disappointed, especially since I am new to Angie's List.

They are responsive, competitively priced, and they take good care of our dog. We have used them for the past seven years.

We have been happy with the services. They pick up our dog in the morning and drop him off in the afternoon. The procing is excellent for the services they provide.

They come every other day and pick him up in a van and bring him to a two hour play group and then drop him back off. It took our dog a few sessions to get comfortable, but it has had an overall positive impact on his happiness and behavior. Everyone we have interacted with from Happy Tails has been nice and they all clearly love dogs.

Dawn did a great job. She was able to take care of our skittish and very wary cat in our absence. She left us some great notes so we could see how it all went on a daily basis and even brought in our mail. We'll definitely be using their service again!

We met with Dawn before we left and I showed her all the cats' favorite hiding-places, where their food and water was kept, etc. She called us twice and left messages telling us that she had gotten into the house the first day as well as an interim report. She also left us a detailed message about each visit. Our cats are very shy, so while Dawn tried to entice them out to play she understood when they refused and simply did a visual check to confirm that they were OK, using their consumption of food and use of the cat pan as evidence of health. The area around the cat pan was neat and tidy when we arrived, and all our mail was in a place where someone looking in the windows would be unlikely to see it piling up. I really appreciated her attention to our security as well as the health of our cats.

Our dog walker is great. My dog loves him and he is very flexible if I need my dog to be walked at the last minute. My dog also seems to enjoy being boarded there because he gets to play with other dogs; he always comes back tired:) The only drawback to Happy Tails is that the owner is sometimes very slow to call you back. Even though this can be frustrating, it hasn't stopped me from using their service for over a year now.

A couple of weeks before I left for vacation, I left a message on Happy Tails' website. Christine got back to me quickly and arranged to have Dawn contact me. I decided to hire this company at the spot when Dawn first visited my house because Dawn was very easy to talk to and was very honest about what she could do best or not. It was agreed that Dawn would stop by my house every other day when I was gone. I was charged $20 per visit because of the number of animal friends I had (We had 4 litter boxes to say the least!). Before I went overseas, I left Dawn instruction and my friend's contact information in case of emergency. As it turned out, my house was broken in pretty much right after I left. Dawn discovered it and contacted my friend. Before of Dawn's quick response, I and the police were notified of the incident quickly, and the appropriate actions were taken. While all those were going on, Dawn maintained her focus on taking care of the animals. The animals were well-fed and happy. Their litter boxes or habitats were clean. Dawn cleaned all the cats' dishes as well.

He walks all three of my dogs, lets two of them out to play, bathes and does basic grooming on all three of them. He has very flexible hours and comes in a timely manner. He is very cheap for the service which he provides. He walks them for about an hour plus the grooming. I think he is great.

I've been with them for about five years and recommend them. They are very fairly priced, care about the animals, responsive, knowledgeable about animal care, and flexible. The one drawback is purely administrative. I have had challenges with billing (getting bills, getting them timely, etc). I worked with Christine on a solution. In terms of her care of my dog, I have no complaints. He is happy to go with her staff.

Dawn did a good job- checking in on the cats daily, changing the litter box and feeding them. She even left me a couple of messages to let me know how they were doing- which I appreciated. She left the cat area spotless- the litter box was very clean upon my return and the cats seemed happy. She also took out our trash/recycling as requested when we were gone. I would use them again.

Christine is an extremely likeable person who was easy to talk to and schedule with. I have used this pet sitting service a few times in the past few years and have been very happy with their service, reliability, and pricing. I even recommended them to my neighbor downstairs and since they were coming to the same building when we were both out of town at the same time, Happy Tails gave us a jointly calculated rate.

I have used Happy Tails Pet Service for more than two years now. They've come to my house to take care of my cat while I was traveling. As mentioned in other reports, it's extremely important to be able to trust the person/company you leave your pet with when traveling domestically or even internationally. The service has always been great and they called me back whenever I checked-in with the pet sitter. I also like that it's always the same person looking after my cat (she seem to love my kitty). The fees are very reasonable and they can arrange things on very short notice. If there is one thing I would recommend they look into, it would be providing the possibility to board cats. I've had to stay away for more days then my cat was really tolerating being by himself even with visits from several people.

We continue to use Happy Tails for over two years now. We have used the service for doggy day care, checking on our cat and overnight trips. We have no complaints always finding the business owner (Christine) and her staff to be responsive, flexible and professional. They work on short notice and our dog absolutely loves the interactions with the other animals.

Fantastic. I have relied on Christine for over two years and have had outstanding service. Like all pet owners, it is crucial to trust the person taking care of your pet and I feel that way with Christine. She is competent, incredibly responsive, and cares about the dogs.

I've trusted Happy Tails with my dog since he was a puppy. They are by far the least expensive place that does pick-up and drop-off. Christine believes that full-day daycare is excessive for dogs, and that giving them several hours of socializing and exercise gets them good and tired without over-stimulating them. It seems to work for my dog. The employees love dogs and are knowledgeable and responsible. Christine frequently takes them to seminars or has them view a video by a prominent trainer, etc. (At one point, there was an employee who wasn't up to snuff, and she didn't last long.) My special requests about leaving the gate closed, crating the dog or not, turning on the air conditioning, etc. are always followed. Occasionally, my calls don't get returned within a day or two. I'm willing to do follow-up calls in order to get this care for this price.
