They are dangerous and may cause damage to the generator. Although we did provide the customer with an estimate for a manual transfer switch, he decided to not move forward with the installation."

"We apologize as we were processing training of a new member of our office staff with a new CMR program. As far as the price, we provided an estimate of cost base on a visual to the eye assessment of present Knob and Tube Wiring for the replacement based on what we can see in open structural places. This is the normal practice because we can not see within walls. We identify what we see, disconnect power to the wires and process to walk throughout the premises to find devices of receptacles, switches and lighting outlets that are without power as a point of interest for existing K&T Wiring. Our price is based on that count and the intensity of the labor as listed units base on finished or open structure. Unfortunately Generators tend to be a seasonal need as consumers tend to wait until fall. You stated 85 exercise hours on the generator date of 8/17. The firs year is the most critical, the first 50 hours. We maintain the generators as required by the manufactures specifications on a daily schedule as group in an area of travel and the recorded exercise time of the generator so oil moves loosely. Most times customers are not home, we don't need to be in the home. You own one of the few best generators in the market. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Also, she has multiple air conditioners and the circuit breaker keeps tripping. Please test to diagnose the A/C circuits and we will need to give her a price to maybe add another dedicated circuit for the A/C units. Went through what the customer wanted to do in her bedroom. they have a coaxial TV Outlet that is across the room from the TV and they wanted the cable in the walls and a coaxial TV outlet near the TV. they can not do this without notching the wall or removing baseboard because they do not have access to open frame structure above the or below. the husband thought it'd be too big of a project for what she wanted. I went to the electrical panel took off the cover, isolated the circuit with the A/C units. the amperage load was eight amperes on the meter. I turned on both A/C units, table lights anything I could to re-establish a breaker to trip with the customers. We could not get the breaker to trip. I marked down my readings on the work order. Next I diagnosed the power and signal connections to the TV and found that the switch on the converter box had been turned off. I was told by the customers that the house cleaner had done something by accident. fixed that for them. The customer would not sign the work order because she had thought that we were just giving an estimate and in her words "that nothing had been done to improver the home" I had explained that even tho nothing had been physically done, that I did go through all her ckts and tooled my readings and that I had also spent over an hour and half w her and her husband to fix things just now and going over what could be done for her coax cable in the bedroom. I don't believe an "F" was deserved by this customer. Our CRM Field Service program records every action from communications, time stamping and GPS location tracking on every job.
