The cleaning of the gutters was done just fine. However, I had scheduled for this company to come out 2 days after Sandy, but they showed up 2 days before Sandy without notifying me of the change. As a result, the storm came through and now the gutters are full of leaves again.

They are very professional, call with a reminder and leave things very tidy.

Very well as usual, they call the day before, show up on time, do the work well, clean up well, etc.

The $99 Angie's List deal was a really good one and Keith was very responsive answering emails despite what must have been a lot of volume during the deal. They came and the gutters look nice and clear and they left a report on some minor repairs needed including an area I asked them to look at. All in all a great experience.

They recommended 1 less downward pipe. As a result I have some water buildup in heavy rains that I did not have before. Bad recommendation. Saved a little money up front but have water in the basement in exchange.

NE Gutter Kings responded to my online inquiry in a timely manner, and gave me a very reasonable quote, over the phone, based on my own description of my home (split-entry ranch). Based on the reviews I read on Angie's List, I asked them to go ahead with the job. They called a few days later to say they would have a crew on site the next day. (I had asked them to call, so that I could unlock the gate if I was not going to be home.) While I have not inspected the gutters, it is raining today and water appears to be staying in the gutter, as opposed to overflowing as it was a few weeks ago. I look forward to their installation of their "King Cover" in the next week or so.

I thought they were pricey. The installation went well and they did a good job. They are very reliable and delivered what they said they would. I am happy with the quality. I would consider them again in the future if needed.

Great job on cleaning the gutters. We are pleased with the guards. They guarantee the guards and will clean the gutters at no charge if they become clogged. One small annoyance was that on the initial day when they cleaned the gutters, they left a bag filled with wet debris in front of my front door. They pointed it out to me (I thought to let me see just how much gunk was up there) but did not remove it. When the gutter guards were installed similarly, there was a bit of debris left here and there. Other companies are much worse, and a few are better. Overall I recommend - just be aware you have to clean up a bit after.

Poorly. The scheduling went well and the crew arrived on time. Immediately, the foremen tried to sell me gutter sealing 'under the table' ie cash for him only (not his company.) I declined. The men then asked me for garbage bags to dispose of the leaves as they said they had run out. I watched the first two men put a the ladder. They were not careful and did not seem to know what they were doing. I watched them take down the ladder to move it. When trying to raise the ladder, they hit the house and damaged my new paint job. The damage was minor, but I had seen enough. I told them to stop, called the company and told them I did not want this crew working on my house. They tried to persuade me that all was OK. It was not and I told them so. They told me they would send this crew to a different house and would reschedule the work for my house with a more experienced crew. They did so and the work was OK. They offered me a discount on the work, but I had prepaid. I will not use this company again.

They provide good information on any additional service needed. I was very happy with their service. I have hired them for additional work since then as well.

NE Gutter Kings has cleaned the gutters at my new house once and several times at my previous home. The are a well-run ship and everything goes exactly as they say it will when one schedules the visit. The price is great and the service is perfect. Will definitely use them going forward. They also replaced our gutters at our previous home and did a perfect job as well. the only suggestion I would say is spend the extra money and get the better gutters that won't require the bi-annual cleaning. We knew we were moving so we did not spend the extra money but if we ever have to replace at this house, we will spend the extra for the King gutters.

Everything went well. The only complaint was the this company had never done work on the gutter covers that we have. They did the best job considering the circumstances.

Once NE Gutter Kings received our signed contract and down payment, they immediately scheduled service within a week. Previously, water was cascading down over the side of our house and in some places gushing. However, after last week's storm, the water is all coming down through the downspouts. Very satisfied with the repairs.

They did not require anyone to be home on installation day, but I happened to have the day off from work. When the crew came to install the gutters, I noticed that they were not painted the color we requested to match the trim of the house. They could have so easily just installed them and painted them, but the crew called the home office who made the decision to start from scratch. Apparently, the paint is mixed in at the time of manufacture, and they asked their supplier to re-manufacture them in the right color so the color would last and wear as intended. I was very impressed with their response and the way they dealt with the problem. (The smooth round downspouts also look great and am glad we spend a little extra on them.) A week or two later, we figured out that a very short corner downspout that was removed during the installation was not put back. When I called, they fixed the problem very quickly (same or next day.) Overall, it was a pleasure dealing with NE Gutter Kings. They went above and beyond in their professional handling of a problem. I would definitely use them again. My only disclaimier is that it has not rained much since installation, so I am not yet 100% sure how well the gutters work, but am not too worried.

I asked New England Gutter Kings to install Z-flashing on gutters on a particular section of my house, and their supervisor Edwin qouted me $50 for the job after arriving and inspecting the location (that included securing some loose hangers). I came back that day and found a bill for $90. I contacted Gutter Kings and gave them an opportunity to remedy this situation, and here was their response: "I have spoken to Edwin, our field supervisor regarding the statements youclaimed he made regarding the cost of the repair. You state that Edwin quoted you $50 for adding Z flashing to your gutters.He claims he did not. $90 is our minimum price for any repair workwhatsoever. Your job actually cost more than $90, since Edwin not onlyinstalled Z flashing but also re-attached your gutter with a few new hangersand more screws. Your job should have cost around $125 but we only chargedyou $90. There are no jobs that are performed by our company for less than $90. SoEdwin could not have quoted that price for you." So naturally, I must be lying to avoid paying and extra $40, because Edwin is more trustworthy than I am.I noticed today that they had charged my credit card without my authorization. I'm calling my credit card company to complain about this. Update on 7/20: I have since spoken with Keith at New England Gutter Kings and they have refunded the $40 charge. I have updated their ratings accordingly since they resolved this open issue. Update on 7/22: After reading their latest response to my rating change, I updated their professionalism rating back to an F for, well, obvious reasons. Don't worry Gutter Kings, our feelings towards any prospect of working together in the future are mutual.

Went well.. crew finished in 90 min. Gave me a written write up of condition of gutters and also a pamphlet of additional products they carry. I definitely would recommend them.. just make sure to be very clear with the phone operator exactly what you need.. repeat it and make sure it's confirmed.
