James was very easy to work with and did a nice job on our windows - he does careful, meticulous work. Due to my mistake, he was there to clean the windows on the same day a carpenter/painter was there replacing boards on the windows, but he worked around them and cleaned up some problems the carpenter left behind. Overall, I was very pleased.

I would recommend Calco Handyman to my family and friends. James was professional. My job was delayed a few times due to snow. When weather permitted he started and finished quickly. I'm pleased with quality of work. I will call him again, when needed.

James aims to please. He is a hard working handyman who strives to provide an end result that is to your liking. Some reviewers have stated that he works slowly or that he takes his time. His rate is very reasonable, so I preferred that he thought the process thru rather than rush to finish quickly. He is a handyman and not an expert at all types of construction and/or repair, so keep that in mind.

Jim responded quickly with a phone call . He arrived for quote at the exact time he said he would. He offered several suggestions on how to fix my rotted railings. He started the job when he said he would and did very good work. I would use James again

They charge by the hour. A project that was estimate to take six hours, took them two days and still wasn't finished. I had to pull the plug. Really nice guy, but takes the sweet time. See other reviews that shows "they take long" I should had listen. If you hired them, make sure you take a fix rate or walk away before they start, because, they also charge for clean up time!

"This man was not reasponseable to what he asked of me to do. He had me do one job. Then ask me to do another job. That took other tools and set-up to do.I do believe I did him a great deal of good. In the timing it took me to do what had to be done.Also !!! When he ask me to stop.He told me he only had $300.00 to get the work done. In truth would cost much more. He fail to do his homework of what he was doing on his project.!!!!"

He arrived on time, a little early and evaluated the job instantly. He did an installation that did not need a plumber, but when there was a small problem, he solved iti without my having to spend more $$ on a plumber. He explained the situation thoroughly and I was confident with his decision. He is knowledgeable about all practical handyman projects, his rates were very reasonable and I would definitely use him again. Thank you

Jim did excellent job. Very reasonable price. Sometimes, he under estimates the time to finish the job and so it ends up being higher than estimated. But, very good job.
