I purchased this service through Angie's List on 8/3 and promptly contacted the provider by phone. They responded through Angie's list and offered me their first-available appointment for 9/16--over a month and a half later. I rearranged my schedule to be available for that day/time and no one showed up. I received no communication from them to indicate they would not be able to make the appointment. I called them and left my phone number (again). They responded and said they could not make the appointment because they had another job. They claimed they did not have my phone number, which is inaccurate because I left it on their VM. They also could have contacted me through the messaging feature on Angie's List. They offered me their next available appointment, 9/21 at 9AM. I told them I could make that work, but that I had a hard-stop at 10AM. Once again, I rearranged my schedule to accommodate them and once again, no one showed up. I contacted them via Angie's List at a few minutes before 10, and they responded via voice mail and said that they were running late and would miss my appointment but that they could come soon. As I'd previously communicated, I had a hard-stop. Now I have rearranged my schedule twice, it's almost 2 months since I purchased the service, and they failed to show up both times and to communicate in a timely and professional manner.

He did a good job in inspecting the entire roof and identifying the areas that needed to be addressed. My rating is for the 17 point inspection only. I was satisfied with the results and have hired him to do the corrective work. I gave him a deposit for 33% of the quoted cost. The work represents a relatively small job (about $4,000) and I knew I would have to wait a little while for him to fit me in. However, it is now August 7th and he was suppose to come this coming Monday, but he has advised me today that the heating elements needed for part of the project have not yet arrived and that he would have to reschedule. No new date has yet been communicated. UPDATE: Sep 21, 2015 The parts arrived and the crew came and did an excellent job in completing repairs to existing shingled and rubber roofs and installing new state of the art deicing panels. The owner actually came back on the following Sunday and inspected the work and took me up to the top to view the work not visible from ground level. I was very impressed with him and now plan to use his company for additional work next Spring.

I need up not needing the service and requested a refund from Angie's List.

This is way overdue, but I was very happy with this provider and the inspection. Eric was wonderful! He agreed to come out to my home even though it was a tad over the area he services. Was I ever lucky! He was very personable and professional. Most of all he was honest. He assured me that I could get a few more years out of my roof. There was one small problem that he estimated, but he told me that I could monitor it myself and explained where to check. This severe winter I had no problems! I do plan on doing the roof in a few years, and he will be on my call list. I don't write many reviews, but this was a definite must! You will not be disappointed.

Other than that it was a little hard to get ahold of this provider and that bad weather delayed their work (not their fault, obviously), all went well. They did a very thorough and neat job of the roof edge repair, and we finally have gutters on our oddly shaped rear of house that drain properly. Once the job got started, it was done efficiently and well.

They did a very detailed inspection of our roof, inside and out, and provided a thorough list of all of the work that was needed. My one complaint: they said they would do a quick turnaround on the actual estimate because we were going out of town. That didn't happen.

Excellent, they were very good! They followed through and cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone!

If they would just increase their communication it would be have been so much better of an experience because in the end the price was fare and the quality of the work was good. For the initial inspection ($129) i heard back immediately and had an inspection scheduled within a few days. Very honest, I think he could have easily convinced me that I needed a lot more done than he recommended. I was prepared to replace some major portions but he said with the minor repairs my roof was good for another 10 years (it is 15 years old). After the inspection things went very slow. I had to send multiple emails to finally receive the $857 estimate for the repair he reviewed. When I finally received the estimate with the contract I promptly sent it back with the deposit and again heard nothing and had to send multiple emails adding to the communication frustration. I will say that the estimate we received included an estimated repair date of 10/31 and they ended up coming a day early. The initial inspection was on 9/26 and we were completed on 10/30.

Dealing with Precision from the beginning was very positive. They answered when I called and were quick in getting out to do the estimate. Eric was very professional, gave us several options, and let color samples for us to choose from. Getting the work done was a little delayed due to weather, but they kept us in the loop. When the finally came, they came on a Saturday. The town where I live has a bylaw about not starting outside work until after 7:00. Even though they arrived prior to 7, they didn't lift a hammer until 7:01. The crew was efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up. Except for a few random small pieces of shingles in the shrubs, you wouldn't have known they were there. Roof looks great too.

It went very well. Work completed in timely fashion, good clean-up and overall superior job. Came right in on budget, no surprises.

They have done two reroofing projects for me in the past. I have a cedar shingle roof and they've reroofed the front of the house, a porch, and a shed. They were excellent. They cleaned up well after removing the old roof and replacing it. The work was done earlier than I expected. I would recommend them to everybody.

Overall, they were prompt and helpful. However, despite saying they never subbed any work out, we recognized the crew they sent was from another local company. The work was done as described, however. One negative aspect was that the office manager was a pain in wanting to pick up a check from us in person the same day as the work. I wanted to inspect the work and especially the cleanup in the daylight hours, so I demurred. (The contract specified payment at satisfactory completion.) The cleanup was acceptable (not perfect) so I agreed to drop the check in the mail. The office person was kind of snippy with me on wanting to get the check in person, but due to my own schedule it was not convenient to be there when she could swing by. I did mail the check that day and it was received the following day, so all was well. But it left a bad taste in the mouth after what should have been a very good experience.

We have suffered from ice dams for years due to an improperly installed roof -- roof needed to be replaced, and we had one vendor come out from a home show (his price for our roof was $26,000) -- we had Precision Roofing recommended to us by a neighbor, and his quote was good, and his reputation equally good, so we had our new roof -- several men completed the work in one day, the job was professional, looks wonderful, no more ice dams with the ice shield that was installed, and even the building inspector complimented us on the job.

Everything seemed fine until we needed them to return to fix one of the gutters. They promised but never returned even though I made several calls. Since then we have had a painter and a window company performing work on our house comment on the poor quality of work done in flashing and improper installation of gutters. Half of our gutters have fallen down from the weight of snow, a contractor we hired to reinstall them said they were not installed properly, thus the reason they weren't holding the weight of snow in the winter. It has cost us alot of money to re-do there work. Buyer beware!

awsome was delayed a few days due to weather, workers were professional, cleaned up after themselves, did an awsome job above and beyond expectations. Price was right where I expected to spend and I had other offers for nearly double the price.

We have a poorly pitched roof over s three season porch that was converted to a room. The original roof replacement in 2008 was not done accordingly. After discussion with Eric, it was determined that we should place a rubber roof in this area. Once the two year old roof was removed, it was noticed that it was not installed properly by their workers on the original job in 2008. Roof was replaced with shingles again and we will see how this repair fairs.

They came highly recommended. Arrived promptly, finished promptly. No problems at all!

Samples were brought to the house 2 days after the initial phone call at the first meeting. Several books were left for us to decide what type of roofing material and colors we wanted. When we were unsure as to what color to pick Erik mounted 3 versions on our roof so that we could see them in all types of light. He also offered references and other homes to drive by to see his craftmanship. His quote was the lowest and you do not get charged for materials that you will never need or use (this added cost usually comes from overestimating the amount of tiles needed and these tiles usually go to the next job). 3 days start to finish. Almost all roofing nails picked up along the way (we have pets and automobiles close to where some of the work was completed).
