Perfectly! Michael Lavalle, owner and operator, was punctual and performed his work in a timely manner. Even put paper boots on his work boots when he came in and out of the house. Being a senior citizen I expected work to be performed well and it was. He was meticulous in his work. I told him my clothes took a long to dry and he said that would improve now. He was correct! I saved 15 mins drying time on each load of laundry, which will save about $40 a year, at least. The electric company will not be happy but I am!

It had been many (too many) years since our dryer vent line had been cleaned out. We relied on the good reviews of Dryer Vent Wizard of Central MA to try this company for dryer vent inspection, cleaning, and vent hood services. It was easy to schedule an appointment through his answering service. The owner Michael arrived when promised, and was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He donned booties to keep our floors clean. He noted that our dryer vent system was no longer up to code (the rigid vent line material was too thin and duct tape was not allowed), and recommended - instead of cleaning the vent line – that the vent line be replaced with thicker material and sealed with heat sensitive tape. He also attached 2 feet of flexible metal transition duct from the back of the dryer to the rigid vent line so we can move the dryer a few inches if we need to. He installed a vertical 2x4 board to the wall and attached the rigid vent line with metal brackets to the 2x4, for stability. Above that, the previous elbow in the vent line had been 90 degrees; he made the bend rounder, which allows for smoother air flow. The existing exterior opening for the vent hood was 3” and too small, so he replaced it with a 4” one. He replaced our existing vent hood with a 3-louvered vent hood, which opens when the dryer is in use and closes when it is not. We asked for an insect screen, which he said was not allowed because lint can get clogged at the screen and create a fire hazard. Michael let us decide which of his recommended services to use, with no pressure. We had him do all the work he recommended. He thoroughly explained the work to be done, and he answered all our questions. We are so glad we found Dryer Vent Wizard on Angie’s List and would not hesitate to recommend him. We will definitely hire him to clean out our dryer vent line in a year.

Mike is very honest and professional. He takes pride in doing the job the right way! We recently bought our Townhouse and the duct work is embedded in the ceiling/stairwell cavity. We wanted a short vertical run of foil duct replaced with the hard aluminum pipe material; However it ended up becoming a larger job than we thought. Mike found that our old duct was not installed properly by the builder. Most of it wasn't even connected-allowing years of lint to escape into the ceiling and stariwell cavity and they used the foil duct to get by the difficult twists & turns instead of doing it properly. Mike had to pull the entire run out through the vent cap , repair it, and snake it back through the finished ceiling. He then took the time to properly make the twist and turns with solid pipe-which was no easy feat. He installed an animal proof vent cap. This was an awkward difficult job and he took the time to do it the right way. HIRE HIM he knows his stuff!

excellent, Mike was personable, knowledable & professional he was happy to stay on a Fri 4pm & take on a big job, we decided to replace the old flimsy foil duct with the hard aluminum stope pipe material, our old duct took some questionalbe twists & turns, Mike was able to work a much straighter path & while keeping the duct up & out of the way, he had to snake through a finished ceiling area & work over 18 ft to the outside where he also installed a new vent door, on a separate note...we took his suggestion & also replaced both hoses on the washer for $100 He took care of moving everything & even adjusted the laundry room doors so they hung & glided way better than before :)

It was a relief to find a company that specializes in this as we had already had another company come out who identified the issue (after two visits) and then told us they couldn't actually fix the problem. In addition to clearing out all the debris, they gave me advice on some other things to watch for and removed the screen that was outside the dryer vent on the roof that was exacerbating the issue we had.

Michael Lavalle not only fixed the problem, but he came earlier than scheduled, cleaned up all his work, was collaborative and thoughtful as we worked through a solution together. Then he made himself available if we wanted to adjust things later.

It went beautifully! He noticed that the ductwork in the home was not up to code and also noted a large amount of lint that was in the original duct. Very professional!

Very well. Michael scheduled our appointment promptly and followed up with a phone call to see if we had any questions for him before proceeding. On the day scheduled he called to let us know that he was able to arrive early, if that would work for us (it did). His suggestion to re-route our dryer vent was smart, more energy efficient than what was planned, and more appropriately met code. We decided to go with his suggestion and he was then able to install a new rigid vent, exhaust vertically through the roof of our new addition, right away. He is the consummate professional and we would not hesitate to recommend his services and hire him again to clean our vent, when needed.

Installed a dryer vent box so that my dryer would fit properly into my laundry closet He explained all the options and stayed late to get everything done the same day even though the job was larger than expected. My dryer gets everything dry on the first cycle now.

This was my first experience with Dryer Vent Wizard of Central MA. Michael was fantastic! He provided the courtesy of a phone call giving his estimated time of arrival on the early end of the time frame given when I made the appointment. Upon his arrival, he thoroughly inspected the dryer and its ventilation system. He very clearly explained the work that needed to be done and allowed me the opportunity to ask as many questions as necessary. Michael was very conscientious and meticulous throughout the whole job. I must say that Michael was extremely professional and deeply committed to providing first rate service. Our dryer is not located in a prime location, so replacing the vent involved going through the basement ceiling and doing a lot of work in a crawl space. Michael was not only willing to take on this project, but his main concern was our satisfaction with the work provided. Not only were we very happy with his work, he graciously offered his coupon found on Angie's list. Overall, great experience. I highly recommend Michael for anyone needing vent work.

After purchasing a new dryer we learned that the old dryer vent pipe was out or code.  In addition we later learned that we were at significant risk of fire as the pipe was clogged solid with lint and in dismal condition.  At that point we were without a dryer but Mike was very responsive and within 24 hours was at our house. 
When we booked the call we were given a 4 hour window of when service would be provided but Mike called in the morning and gave a close estimate to when he would arrive.  Turned out the old installation was non-standard and due to the dryer/vent location and home construction there were challenges with each of the options on how the new vent would be installed.  Mike and I discussed each option and with his expert knowledge came up with a workable solution.  
The finished installation is of amazing quality and a very professional installation that will last for years if properly maintained.  I'm so glad to that we became aware of the fire hazard and that we were referred to Mike.   After seeing what the clogged vent pipe looked like I will surely have Mike out every couple years for the cleaning service.   I highly recommend Mike for his professionalism, good value for work performed and high quality installation!

It went amazingly. Michael Lavalle, owner of Dryer Vent Wizard is oustanding - truly the epitome of professionalism, responsiveness, quality of work and price. 
Michael was able to come to our house the day after we first called which was great. He had a co-worker with him and they worked on this project for four hours. Everytime they went outside they came back into the house with shoe coverings even though I insisted that wasn't necessary. Michael surveyed our situation amd then explained clearly what was needed. 
From the moment I met him I knew I had called the right company. Just the nicest guy and provides outstanding customer service. 
Would hire him again in a second and simply cannot recommend him highly enough.

I called to set an appointment on Monday and Michael was able to come by on Tuesday at 9:30AM.  He inspected the existing dryer vent and noted that it was made of plastic flexible hose which is virtually impossible to clean adequately (and also out of code), especially since the hose is over 20 years old.  Michael suggested we install a metal duct from the second floor dryer up through the wall into the attic, venting through the roof.  We agreed that this was the best and safest option since it would have been impossible to run rigid duct work along the path of the existing dryer hose.  Included in this project was the necessity for Michael to get on the roof, which with our walk-out basement, is 3 stories off the ground.  All of the work was done with quality and efficiency in about 3.5 hours.  Michael was very professional and polite.  I would highly recommend him to anyone needing dryer vent service.
