Masonry Work
The contractor claimed for a month that he would start the job then claimed that it was neccessary for the property manager to apply for his building permits and pay for his bond required in the city of Boston. However, only the contractor can put up his own bond. The contractor has refused to return the $9,000 deposit although no work has been done other than setting up ladders. I would not use this contractor under any circumstances. He is not interested in performing his work but only in getting his deposit. In 20 years of using contractors we have never has this experience before as all the other contractors were sincerely interested in completing their work and in their reputation.
