They did exactly what we requested. One piece 12 foot granite counter-top. Installation was on second floor took a couple of extra men for delivery. Installed in less than an hour. We would definitely recommend them.

They came out beautiful. Javier's crew was meticulous measuring and making templates, and they were on time and professional. the price was great, with no extra charge for the edging I chose. I will be calling Javier soon to talk about bathroom counter tops!

I have to start by saying I checked with multiple small stone companies as well as Lowes and Home Depot. After exposure to them, I have to say that working with SMB was the best decision.
They were the first I looked at as they're closest to me. I met Javier and had to tell him, and quot;I live in a small condo so most places keep turning me away or charging me minimum fees.and quot; His reply was, and quot;Your money is good here, and quot; made me laugh and the more we talked the more I could see that he was going to take me as seriously as a and quot;bigand quot; job. He explained to me the differences between using a remnant or using a full slab and explained the pricing. I kind of knew I'd be at the mercy of what was in their remnant pile.
They have an AMAZING selection in their remnant pile.
I was originally looking for cost effective and went in with a budget. What I got was a remnant of soapstone that far exceeded anything I anticipated putting into my kitchen. He talked to me about the pro's and con's of the rock and what other alternatives I might have. I told him I'd have to think about it and went to multiple other locations only to return later the same day.
I expected a two week turn around and when he said one I was shocked. Then three days later he calls and asks if I would be up for doing it right then. They came in and did their thing. I have some tough spaces, and uneven floors and they had it leveled and put together within an hour. The stone is flawless and perfect for me.
I would highly recommend them to ANY condo owner looking to do a small space. They have an amazing selection.

We had checked out several options for having our countertop installed, including Home Depot and Lowe's, as well as other local installers. We found Javier to be very professional and easy to deal with. He gave us the best price compared to the other places we had gotten quotes. Once we had decided to work with SMB, the process was smooth. We had selected our granite from a warehouse, had it delivered to SMB. They cut it and installed it within a couple of weeks. It is now 3 months later and we are still very pleased with the work. I would absolutely recommend them.

The entire experience from beginning to end was excellent! I contactrf them by email one evening and they called back early the next day, and I visited their facility the day after that. Javier, one of the four brouthers who own the business, was very profressional and patient in showing me the options. Prices were very competative, and I was able to pick out the exact slab I wanted from the granite warehouse. The team arrived on time both for the initial measurement through the final installation. They did a wonderful job on the installation and the kitchen looks great!

They came the same day I called to give us an estimate. Waited until we finished demo work and then installed the counter top. Couldn't have asked for better service or install.

These guys were perfection! Not only were they master craftsmen but they were unusually gracious, courteous, and focused on doing the best job humanly possible. They clearly believe in doing whatever it takes to help their clients, and their long-time experience gives them the expertise to do so. They honored the letter and spirit of every agreement they made. Their prices are also very competitive.

SMB was referred to us by a friend. He had done a great job on his kitchen. Javier was very responsive and he set up an appointment for 2 days after the initial call. Since this was the first time my husband and I have ever had granite installed, we appreciated the samples he brought and the insightful suggestions he made based on the product and our current kitchen setup. We agreed on material and his brother Ismael, who is really the technician, and an assistant returned 2 days later to make a template. Javier had suggested a larger undersink to replace our current corner stainless sink. I was concerned about the increased size so the next day, he brought by the smaller sink (which was comparable to what we had) for me to see. I thought that was great. In retrospect, I think both would have worked fine. A week later, Ismael, Javier and the assistant showed up for the installation. I had removed all items on a ledge behind the counter and everything under the sink as instructed but it seems they needed more items removed from the lower drawers and cabinets. They did this without complaints. Then they removed our old Formica which apparently was installed very, very well. It gave them some trouble but they pursued. They were very careful not to scratch any accompanying surfaces while removing it and likewise with the old sink which we were keeping. They had suggested a matching 3 1/2 inch granite back splash to conceal a gap that would be created. This really made the kitchen pop. They worked diligently and finished in a short time and returned everything to its proper place. They even disposed of some old wood that I had out by the street. Actually, I am quite picky but I would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking for granite or marble. They were polite, efficient, professional, and a good value.
