From start to finish, Rodenhiser provided exceptional quality customer service. Dan on the front end, designing the combination tank less-hot water/boiler system and assisting with the MassSave program. Tyler, Dillon and the other gents on the 1.5 day of installation of our system were extremely professional and courteous. They left the worksite cleaner than when they started. It’s a thing of beauty. We love our new system and look forward to the cost savings! I’d recommend them at the drop of a hat!!

Slightly more expensive than others, but they completed the work I needed done on the day of the estimate and the work was of good quality. I appreciated that the tech provided me updates and asked for me to make decisions as he noticed exceptions from his original quote. Would hire again.

Chris evaluated our plumbing needs and presented 3 repair options. By examining the costs and repair solutions, we were able to select the option that fit our budget and our long term needs. He fixed our problem that very day. He was polite and professional and cleaned up after the work was done. We ve used Rodenhiser in the past, and though they are a bit pricey, they are excellent! Money well spent.

Listen, we are very easy going and it takes a LOT for us to give a negative rating. However, we were completely dissatisfied with the work that Rodenhiser did at our home. We contacted Rodenhiser to provide a quote on a job to install two toilets, a sink, and shower hardware. Rather than come out to look at the job and provide a free estimate, like many other places, they charged a fee to assess the job. This should have been the first red flag. We had already purchased 75% of the materials including the toilets, sinks, faucet for the sink, and shower hardware. After the plumber looked at the bathrooms and the materials that we had purchased, he said that there wouldn't be any issues with installing the toilets or shower hardware. While the pedestal sink would be a bit more work, he felt that it was quite doable. After this initial 'assessment', they provided a quote and ordered the remaining parts. After a week of no contact, we followed up to see when they would be starting the job. They told us that they had to wait for the parts to come in. We followed up the following week, and still no parts. After a month of weekly follow-ups, they were finally able to schedule the job. This long delay should have been the second red flag. On the day of the job, two plumbers arrived, which seemed like overkill for the work being done. They installed one of the toilets without a problem. But, once they started to look at the pedestal sink they told me that the parts that Rodenhiser ordered 'are terrible and will leak after a year'. They also told me that the faucet I had purchased was the wrong one, and the shower hardware that I had was not going to work. The parts had been looked over by the plumber that we had paid to do the original assessment a month earlier and given a thumbs up. At this point, 4 hours had gone by and the plumbers were now sitting in their truck in our driveway. After this hour break, they came back in and cut a 1-foot x 2-inch hole in the wall behind the pedestal sink. I was a bit stunned by this because they indicated earlier in the day that it would not be necessary to open up the wall. Unfortunately, the location of this hole, directly behind the pedestal, would be extremely difficult to patch. Secondly, they could have accessed the pipes by cutting a similar hole in the garage, directly behind this bathroom, which would have required less detailed repairing. When asked if they were going to patch this hole they told me that 'the drywall they had was all bent' and they wouldn't be able to repair it. At this point, it had been close to an entire day and all they had installed was one toilet and a sink. Along with this, they were leaving me with a hole in my wall that I would now have to patch myself. I decided to cut my losses and told them not to work on installing the second toilet. I had no faith in the job they would do, and frankly just wanted them to leave my home. I will n

The two men worked hard to remove my old furnace and install the new furnace. They were a happy team that obviously got along well and laughed a lot. They were very patient about answering my various questions. I would recommend them to anyone.

In addressing one of many issues with an older home, I know it was time to get a new gas boiler system before the start of another winter. After several quotes from privately and commercially own companies, I selected Rodenhiser – who were amongst the higher quotes, but not the highest. The decision to use Rodenhiser was simple; they offered to replace the old unit with one that would be sufficient for current and future needs while being efficient (95% AFUE). Unlike some modern homes, my house consists of seven active zones – which includes radiant heating for the sunroom – a future zone, and smart home features. In all, this job has some complexity to it…to say the least. Unbeknownst to me at the time of choosing this company, is the rebate and incentive process offer through Mass Save. As part of its service, Rodenhiser submitted my application for rebates; thus giving me one less thing to do afterwards. With regards to the overall service (pricing and installation), as some people kindly noted, using Rodenhiser does come at a financial cost (40-50% additional), especially compared to independent LLC’s. One concern that swayed my decision to using a company versus smaller outfits is reliability. If something does go wrong, will the smaller privately owned establishments stand by their words or still be in business? I just wish this peace of mind did not come at a 40-50% premium. As per the installation, the installers (Rick, Billy, Peter, and Ed) work effortlessly to complete the job in a little over 2 days. And for that, I am grateful.

This company is way too expensive for the amount of work they did. They replaced one cutoff valve in my basement and were only here for less the 45 minutes. I will not select them again.

Big firm was able to come out on a Sunday within a few hours. Nice guy was quick and professional. Are more expensive that most though. And it is hard to get the same professional for another job jf you liked them.
