$330 to hook up a gas dryer. It took them 15 minutes. Would not quote this amount over the phone and they charge $75 to come out and give you a quote. They claim permits are filed but I'm yet to hear about an inspector coming to look. I compliained and they did agree to refund $50. A licensed plumber would normally charge $150 for this job.

Work done was excellent. Plumber was skilled and friendly. However, as of today, the job is still incomplete while waiting for replacement parts from American Standard. This company would receive fives across the board if they would finish the job,

Skilled professional workman. Mark-up on parts seemed a bit high and that accounts for the 4 star rating on value for the money but they were able to acquire and install the part within 24 hours. It was a furnace repair project, to purchase the part myself could have taken days.

I have used Rodenhiser twice now and have nothing but praise for them. The first time was just for removing a small section of baseboard heating during a remodel and the second was for a much larger project: installing a heating system. I initially found Rodenhiser online and quickly realized in doing my research that not a single review (even the bad ones) complained about the quality of their work so I decided to give them a try. They did not disappoint. They were extremely polite and friendly (and even nice to my friendly but very rambunctious pit bull), showed up on time, and worked quickly. When they moved the baseboard, their repairman, Rick, made sure to check out my entire heating system and even cleaned and fixed a few small parts of the furnace to ensure it would be working at its optimum level. I was impressed that they treated a new customer who was only spending a hundred dollars so well. As a result of this experience, when I decided to install a ductless heating system, I knew who to call. Their sales guy -another Rick- was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and not even remotely pushy. He didn't just try to force the most expensive option on me and instead provided me quotes for different possible scenarios and explained them all very clearly. The actual installation went just as smoothly. Jon and Tom spent two days at my house working and could not have been more pleasant. Again, they were on time and worked quickly. They also made sure to go over everything with me to make sure it was to my liking and even made last minute changes to the setup when I changed my mind. In sum, I have been completely satisfied with their technicians and their work, and will be using them again in the future.
