I received a call promptly after contacting Bruce, and he also came by to provide an estimate for the work I requested right away.  I was very pleased when I received a formal proposal for the work along with the estimate for such a small job. It also included in addition to the painting, items such as caulking, puttying, etc. which other painters I had out for estimates did not mention.

I was satisfied with the work performed and feel the price was both fair and reasonable.  I would hire Bruce again.

From the first contact, this company was a pleasure to work with.  The owner, Bruce Wheeler, responded to my initial phone call within an hour, and came to my home the next morning to look at the job.  Much of the trim on the outside of my house needed to be repaired and repainted, or replaced.  I had a limited budget for the project, though.  I explained this to Mr. Wheeler and he spent a good amount of time with me, looking at all the different areas, and helping me to see what was a priority, and what could wait until a later time.  I received a proposal from Mr. Wheeler shortly thereafter; the price was very reasonable, and would work with my budget.  After I accepted the proposal, Mr. Wheeler kept me informed about how soon they could start the work. Work was actually started earlier than we had expected. The initial work was so good that I asked for some additional areas to be done. Again,the price was very reasonable, and the painters came back the next week to do the additional work.

Throughout the process, the three men were careful not to disturb the surrounding area, and did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day.  Kurt, Aaron and Dennis were friendly, professional and checked with me to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted to have done before they started work.  I asked for their advice on some other areas that I wanted to do myself, and they gave me some great tips.  Mr. Wheeler kept in contact with me during the workdays to make sure that things were going well.  I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with ProShield Painters, and I intend to have them back whenever my house needs more TLC.  I recommend them highly!

Bruce was very responsive and came to look at the job quickly. His estimate was completed in a very timely fashion as well and was reasonable so we asked him to complete the job. His crew of 2 men were very polite and they left everything neat; they completed the job in 2 days. The rooms turned out beautiful, we are very pleased. Bruce wanted to make sure that he wasn't paid until we were completely satisfied. We will gladly work with him in the future.

It went well overall. The initial estimate was very quick and got to work quickly. The manager never came back as he promised he would to check on progress and we had to deal with some issues with the crew on our own, getting them to fix a few things. In general good value for the money and great on speed, but we had to watch the details because they were speeding through the job s bit. We had to clean up after them a little and didn't realize it until after they had left.

Excellently, they were quite thorough and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.  No problems that I recall.  The one coat seemed to cover the old wood shingles quite well.

This was an extremely positive experience and I would recommend John Guarino and his crew highly.  I would definitely use them again. 
History of the experience:  John arrived promptly for our initial meeting and I walked the potential job.  John pointed out alternatives
for tackling aspects of the job uch as including the 8 over 8 window trim or deck railings.  Ours is a 3 story house and it seemed a daunting task.  We really needed a total exterior paint job and also had some bad wood in multiple spots which needed carpentry replacement.  Before he left, John provided me with an estimate (with options) for the prep and painting and a general idea of what could be done with the carpentry and how that would be charged as it was "discovered".  We received other estimates but chose ProTect for both price and comfort. 
I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently the crew worked - they cleaned up daily.  John encouraged a thorough walk-through upon
completion and addressed any items on my "punchlist" or questions that I had. 

Went extremely well.  Managing owner Bruce Wheeler is a pleasure to work with.  He is very responsive, pleasant & professional.  He delivers what he promises when he says he will, at a reasonable price.  The crew was pleasant, very hard working and willingly went back to do small touch ups at the end of the job that I pointed out to them.

Pro Tech was the only responder who offered to manage the entire job. We had to work around lots of weather problems but I was pleased with the effort.

We were very satisfied with them. They did fine, and we were very satisfied with it. They were completely professional and efficient. We would recommend them.

Note - This job was done by the Pembroke franchise, owned by Bruce.  I was very impressed and thoroughly satisfied by the work done by Protect.  The painters were punctual, conscientious, friendly and responsive.  A crew of six arrived with a very knowledgable and proactive crew chief (Herb).  The spent 3 days prepping the exterior including removing all the downspouts.  Then they masked all the trim/windows and sprayed two coats of stain on the house.  Although they protected things well, there was some overspray on some of my shrubs and hoses; not fatal but I did notice it.  At that point, they finished the trim prep (including fixed deteriorated wood).  They did it the right ways as I would have done it.  The trim painting was done by a smaller crew of 2-3 painters and with weather, etc. took another 3 days.  Next, two painters did the exterior doors and the porches.  They then scraped off and wiped (but did not clean) the windows.  FInally, the crew replaced all of the things they had removed/moved from the house in order to paint, both those fixed (light fixtures, plant brackets, vents, house numbers, etc.) as well as movable (flower pots, benches, tables, grill, etc).   I did need to replace an exterior flood bulb that fell out during Tropical Storm Irene but that is hard to pin on the crew.  Also, the hose reel they reattached to the house was upside down, but I noticed that a week after the final inspection, so I reattached it.The crew chief (Herb) and the owner (Bruce)  inspected late in the job and responded with more caulking.  They also came around at the end and we walked the entire house.  They were more than willing to deal with anything I brought up.
