Hillside Nurseries & Florist

Chris DePoto visited on schedule and reviewed project ideas with me.  When his first proposal did not suit me, he revised and sent a 2nd proposal which was much better in my mind. His father and his brother Mark arrived with their work crew on schedule and completed the job in a half day.  The end result was superb and has increased the value of our property by about $10K in my estimation.  Both the design and the execution of the work were excellent. Mark and his father consulted with me as the job proceeded to make sure I thought the placements of boulders and shrubs was to my satisfaction.  The work was professionally done.  All areas were cleaned up before they left.  Mr. DePoto, Chris, Mark and their crew were all great to work with.  They were the opposite of arrogant.  They were friendly and professional, and were kind enough to offer my 3-year old grandson a chance to ride in the front loader and run the leaf blower.  He was too shy to do that, but loved watching them the whole time.

Marc Depoto was an absolute pleasure to work with. He has real vision and gave us the yard of our dreams. Marc was very careful to be sure that rain water would drain away from the foundation of the house. We no longer have water coming into our garage. Marc thought of everything and made my back yard into a true oasis. It looks natural and peaceful. I love spending time relaxing on my patio. He obviously prepared the site well as the patio drains perfectly after a rain and has not heaved at all over the winter. While doing the regrading a truck nicked one of my shingles on the house. The next day one of his workmen replaced the shingle and repainted the area. It was done so well you couldn't even tell it had happened. I couldn't get over how promptly it was taken care of! After this experience I wouldn't think of using anyone else but Hillside Nurseries work on our yard.
