PRG POOL SERVICE LLC

1) It took three weeks to open the pool in June. 2) For the second year in a row, I had to complete the cleaning and installation of handrails myself. 3) PRG broke the top of my Hayward Filter, but did not accept any responsibilities for the cost of replacing it. There is no other fact then PRG took the top to clean the fingers and the VERY NEXT TIME it was used, there was a leak. 4) You have not returned my call regarding a problem I was having with one of the skimmers. 5) When I tried calling a few days ago, I got a voice mail message saying your mailbox is full. Clearly service has suffered greatly over the past few years. I used to be a loyal customer and recommended your company, but no more.

They opened the pool. Drained out 30,000 gallons. Muriatic acid to pool surfaces. Waited for dry weather. Applied 2 coats of oil based Paralon 2. I refilled the pool and they returned to chemically treat the pool and vacuum the crud that had blown in after the painting was complete.

Excellent - helped out in a pinch when the company I had been using dropped the ball.  Repair was done fast for a reasonable price - was told when they would arrive and when it would be done.  Hoping to use PRG for all my future pool services since I have had bad experiences with two other pool companies located in Metrowest (Farrell and Clearwater).

This summer I was having a big party and my pool heater died less than a week before the party. I called PRG and they were able to get me a heater, install it, and get it up and running within a few days, in time for an early summer party. This is an example of their responsiveness and capability.

I called PRG when my normal pool company stopped coming around. I found them on Angie's list and while one of the reviews had me a little frightened, they were in the top 5 as far as rating go and are located pretty close to my town.
I called Friday, July 13th to explain the problem (I think I have a leak - I'm adding a few hundred gallons every 2 weeks, and while you're there, the liner is coming untucked in a few places). I ask if they have any availability at all and they give me Monday at the earliest and Tuesday at the latest, without being able to commit to a specific time but saying I wouldn't need to be there. This was great - it's mid-July and most companies are booked out, so having to wait just the weekend was fantastic.
Mark called me on Monday morning to reconfirm the issues and to remind me that they'd either be out there Monday or Tuesday. When I got home Monday night (6:30ish?), the job was done. There was some pool putty where they found the leak (on the stairs) and the liner looked almost as good as new.
Mark called me again on Tuesday morning to let me know how it went. I have him getting me prices on some other problems I'm having and look forward to having them back out to bring the pool back to 100%.

PRG has been my pool service company for many years. They always return phone calls, come when scheduled, and take care of any problems. My pool water has never been cleaner or easier to maintain than it has been since they have been opening and closing my pool.I had a crisis on my hands because I found out I needed a new pool heater 4 days before a big graduation party! Mark was able to get me a new heater and install it the next day. He even contacted the gas company because I couldn't get them to come on time to complete the job, and he got them to come the same day. He definitely went the extra mile for me.

It went great. They had to come back a few times to fix the heater but they finally did get it running. They are so far above the many other pool companies I had used before them.

They instructed us to pick out new standard tile from an online website and they ordered it for us (no one ever came out the house when we were home to talk with us in person). They couldn't do the work until the end of October so we had to keep the pool running much longer in the season than we wanted to. They ended up delaying the job even later due to some employees getting sick. They drained the pool and removed the old tile and grout, then replaced it with 2 rows of 3 inch tiles (standard blue tiles). The finished tile came out looking nice and clean, but some of the plaster from the pools bottom appeared to have been disturbed from perhaps their ladders. They did throw in closing the pool for free since it took them so long to book our job (they stated they usually charge $400 for closings). The overall experience was okay, but I think the customer service and professionalism of the job could have been a bit better for the cost of job.

I had a good overall experience. They were all somewhat knowledgeable, and are good at working with the equipment that I provide them. They also bring what they need with them on a truck and seem prepared.

We needed a replacement light for our in ground pool and called PRG. The first one they found was more expensive, and they looked some more until they found a more resonable light. Not only did they find us a better priced unit, they got it delivered to us quickly. Since our pool is older, it's not always easy to find parts for the equipment we have, but PRG works with what we have until we can upgrade. They have been opening and closing our pool for 2 years and are great to work with.

PRG is reliable, neat and efficient in performing scheduled work and promptly responds to service calls. They have been conscientious in opening the pool properly, with good water chemistry. They have been very fair in evaluating repair options and costs. We appreciate that they are able to work with us in maintaining an older pool and its aging equipment. Although they do promote new products, they are not aggressive, and unlike some other service providers, are not continually selling new services.

PRG IS A FULL SERVICE POOL COMPANY THAT NOT ONLY CLEANS OUR POOL BUT ALSO SELLS AND INSTALLED OUR POOL COVER, FENCING AND NEW HEATER. THEY ALSO DRAINED, POWER-WASHED AND PAINTED OUR POOL.
