The living room furniture did not have the wooden feet on the bottom. The dining table was a fiasco. The first table they sent us had a defect. When they came to replace it, the delivery guys saw that the second table also had a defect. It took several calls and involvement with the manager to get our money back for the table.

We chose a mattress after visiting several stores and testing it on at least three days. Right after delivery, we noticed that it was softer than the store sample. When my husband and I slept on it, we rolled to the center, like it was worn out. We'd tested for this on the sample and returned to the store but couldn't duplicate this effect there. We had trouble sleeping and started waking with back pain. Macy's allows a 1-time exchange, but forces you to use the mattress for 30 days, and they charge for restocking and redelivery. The policy makes sense for customers who simply change their minds, but in our case, their sample didn't accurately represent the delivered item. They refused to waive the fees and forced me to call Customer Service, staffed by rude unprofessionals. After much frustration, I called the CEO; suddenly the local store was responsive and waived the fees. The delivery was scheduled between 2:45 and 4:45 pm. They showed up at 7 pm with no call that they'd be late.
