The job went as expected - High Quality in every aspect. Quoting was done by Dan and was prompt, informative and competitive. Dan was outstanding to work with. He is knowledgeable of the products and materials to be used. Dan was extremely responsive in all aspects - from detailed quoting to scheduling and delivery of services to communications and accessibility. The roofing materials was delivered the day before the job and the dumpster was dropped off that morning before work started. The roofers showed up on time and immediately started working. They are an extremely hard-working team; everyone knows what their part of the process and just does it. It was obvious that the installers are seasoned professionals, paying attention to details. It was clear that they take pride in their work. The job was done is a day which means that the driveway and yard was picked up and returned in the state that it was found in. Dan was there to check in and answer any questions during the install. Overall, extremely pleased with the process and results. Thank you, Dan and the whole H&R Team. We just had our roof shingled and gutters replaced by H&R and we are very pleased. All employees of H&R were very professional and did a great job. Excellent service, work and response from the owner and every employee on the job. First class materials and workmanship. Clean, courteous, punctual. They did everything I asked in the scope of new roof, chimney repointing, new chimney cap, zinc strips, new gutters and downspouts. Best home improvement vendor I have ever used and final price was the same as the quoted price. Highly recommend !!

H and R did a complete roofing restoration down to the wood decking, replaced cedar clapboard down to the original wood sheathing, and installed vinyl replacement windows on my home. Their team is professional, courteous, and meticulous with their work. They did an amazing job, in the time promised, and were incredibly patient with my questions, explaining everything to satisfaction. Ronaldo and Ray went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied. Next phase, new deck. I am not calling anyone else for quotes as I know Ray will always give me a fair price and quality work. I highly recommend H and R roofing for your home construction work.

Ray was great. He answered all questions and I knew exactly what to expect from his company. He and Ronaldo made an extra visit before they got the job. Customer service is a priority with them. The crew who did the roof was exceptional and hard working. They were on time and finished the roof of house and shed and cleanup by five pm. Pricing was very competitive. Ray followed up with a phone call the day following the job to see if the roof stood up to the over night heavy rain .

H&R Roofing came highly recommended to me by a friend who is a real estate broker. (I owe her for this one, as it was the best tip I ever got concerning home repairs.) I had a number of estimates done over the past several years. My roof and chimney were in very poor condition. I had postponed this project as long as possible, as I never felt comfortable with the estimates and/or the sales people I spoke with. I feel incredibly lucky to have called H&R Roofing. I got an excellent estimate from Ray, and I was and am very impressed with his honesty and character. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and a truly likeable guy. From start to finish, the job they did is phenomenal! They started with the chimney which was in the same condition as the roof and literally falling apart. The level of perfection at that work was astounding, and the following removal and repairs to the old roof and installation of the new one is nothing less than remarkable. A team of very focused and polite professionals started in the morning and proceeded to work at a level of expertise and diligence that I've never seen before. (My neighbor across the street sat on his porch watching them throughout the day, periodically sending me one word text messages like "WOW!, and "AWESOME!") They had a group of friends over that night and he talked about how the job unfolded. He repeatedly said that he has never seen a group of people work so hard, individually and collectively. My neighbors and their friends had seen the condition of my roof/chimney many times before, and they were utterly astounded by not only the level of workmanship but also the attention to detail and thorough cleanup.) In addition to the roof/chimney restoration, there was wood to replace and a variety of repairs to do. This amazing group of conscientious and downright nice guys worked to perfection. I imagined this much work would require at least a week. Including the chimney, the job was completed in 2.5 days. I feel it's important to point out that the guys who did this work are permanent employees and sincerely take pride in the quality of their work. In my experience, it's rare to find a roofing business that doesn't subcontract their workers. I believe this makes a huge difference in their desire to do their best possible work. I feel another important aspect of H&R Roofing is that they own their dumpster and vehicles, including the giant truck that hauled the huge dumpster away. This means there is no waiting for anyone to show up, as H&R has got everything they need from start to finish. Another thing is that I do a lot of gardening, and I was very nervous at the prospect of losing plants and the possibility of a big yard mess. Not only did they accomplish a picture perfect roof/chimney restoration, they removed every bit of trash and left my yard in pristine condition. They even raked the leaves! Even my neighbors were impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of these roofers. They also did (Chris) a substantial chimney repair. I have never seen anyone work harder and care more about their work than Chris. The roofing job went like clockwork and because Ray kept us informed, answered any questions, and was very straight forward with us there were no surprises and our roof and chimney are amazing. I would strongly recommend using this company and I would use them again.

H & R replaced our asphalt roof with high quality material, quickly, professionally and with a great team of workers. Our roof was covered under insurance damage from wind and weather. The sales team and the roofers were professional, tidy and did a great job. We are in the middle of the insurance process for depreciation recovery, however, hoping that this will move forward without issue. H & R have the knowledge to help with this process and working with insurance companies to facilitate.

The entire process was great from start to finish. I contacted Ray for a quote to replace my roof. He walked around my property, provided the quote and then proceeded to give very detailed information regarding the materials and methodology. H&R has been very responsive both before and after the installation, which is very important to me. The crew arrived on time and completed the job within the time frame given. They also walked around several times to ensure that everything had been cleaned up prior to leaving. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend H&R Roofing.

Hired H&R to replace our roof in the fall of 2015. We wanted to get insulation installed through the MassSave Program, but needed to address any leaks in our roof first. We got a couple of quotes and were the most comfortable with Ray and H&R. They were willing to install a rubber roof over part of the house and also removed a brick chimney from our sunroom for a minimal cost. Couple months after signing the contract, a large crew showed up and did the roof in a day. Couple guys came back at a later date to do the gutters. The new roof looked good, although the worksite was a little messy and we found lose nails around the house for months. Ray came back after the job was finished to make sure that we were happy and even brought another guy with him to look at our chimney, which was in bad shape. Roughly six weeks after the installation a couple of ridge cap shingles came out on a windy day. I let them know and someone came to fix the problem. A month after that, we had a large leak in our kitchen, which had just been renovated. We had never had a leak in the kitchen with our old roof. We notified Ray and he let us know that someone would come that week to take a look. No one came on the scheduled day, but someone did come the following week. Not sure what was done as we weren't home, but we didn't have any additional leaks for several months. They said that they would send over a painting crew at some point in the future, but we re-painted the kitchen ceiling ourselves not wanting to wait. In the Fall of 2016 we had more leaks. Again in the kitchen and also in the living room (which we had previously had problems with). It appeared as though some of the wood had rotted around an upstairs window which was causing the leaks. We notified Ray and after a couple weeks of phone tag, Ronaldo came to look at the leaks. He said that the roof appeared to be fine, but the leaks appeared to be coming from rotted wood around the window frame. This wood had previously been covered by the old rubber roof, which was removed as part of the installation of the new asphalt shingle roof. It appears as though some of the wood had been replaced, but most of it was not. He said that he could have someone replace the wood, but that we would have to pay for it. We agreed and he indicated that someone could probably come next week. No one came and after playing phone tag with the main office, we have given up. We will most likely call another company to come and address the problem. Overall, Ray is a nice guy, but on several occasions appointments were missed or delayed. Pricing seemed fair, although we spent a lot and would have paid more for better service. Installation seemed rushed which led to some issues (forgetting to install sofit vents, loose shingles falling off). These were all remedied, but the new roof ended up giving us more new problems then it fixed (currently have water dripping into our living room). Maybe the new roof was installed c

H&R provided excellent service and workmanship. This was a barn roof, and the guys were very respectful of our horses and paused while horses were led in and out of the stables. They turned around a very big project quickly - roof and gutters with some specialty work in key areas - by having a large, experienced and well managed crew on the job to beat out impending rain. The clean up was impeccable. We had one follow up request, redirecting a downspout, which was handled within 24 hours. Very professional team, would highly recommend.

I decided to replace my roof on our 18 year home last fall (2015) and I did a fair amount of research via HomeAdvisor and other online resources in addition to talking with friends. I spoke with reps from 4 roofing companies to discuss our job and get pricing estimates. I chose H&R Roofing. I was initially struck by the extremely high ratings on Home Advisor. The price estimate was reasonable and they agreed to remove my old storage shed for an additional $300. Though they were extremely busy last fall, they fit my job in within the time frame initial promised, though that did require a phone call to solidify a date for when the job would be done. The crew arrived as expected and completed the job in a day and half, within the time frame promised over a Saturday and Sunday. I was home during the work and frequently went outside to observe the work and ask questions. At each point, it was clear the crew was working efficiently and doing good quality work. The crew forgot to remove the shed before they left, but I called Ronaldo and he came out with another worker within 30 minutes of my call and disassembled and removed the shed. Within a week of job completion, a town inspector came out to inspect the work. There were many roofs being replaced in the fall of 2015, many by roofing contractors from out of state, because a terrible hail storm in the summer had damaged many roofs in the area. This resulted in many roofs being replaced via insurance claims, and some contractors were doing substandard work. The inspector who visited my home concluded H&R Roofing had done a good job, which further gave me confidence about the product and installation I purchased from H&R Roofing. The story fast-forwards to this week. During the past month, we found a leak after a couple of thunderstorms that appeared to as water was flowing down between the outside of my chimney and inside the covering siding into my garage. I was concerned there may an issue with the flashing installed up against the chimney last fall when the roof was replaced. Ronaldo came out to check on the situation and found the flashing was installed correctly. Upon further investigation, he found the siding around my chimney had been installed incorrectly. A joint between two pieces of trim on one corner incorrectly had the top piece inserted into the lower piece. Over time that joint separated creating an opening where a water staining could be seen. Ronaldo sent a couple of crew members out a couple of days later, and they repaired the issues for both corners without charge! The issue was not even Ronaldo's/H&R Roofing's responsibility but this is a great example of the level of service Ronaldo and his team provides. I fully recommend H&R Roofing based on reasonable cost, quality of work and level of service.

H&R did an amazing job replacing the roof on our contemporary house. This was no ordinary project. There was rot in the wood next to and under the roofing which H&R did themselves because they are licensed to do more than just roofing. The steep slopes and angles on our comporary added to the excitement. All of it was done with complete care, supported by superb customer service througout the project. Don't hesitate to hire H&R Roofing!
