Very nice receptionist got service to us in a prompt way after I complained about waiting for 5 weeks to get an appt.She called with a cancellation within 2 weeks. The gentleman that serviced us was knowlegable and very professional

Went very well; complete and professional. Installed a system they believed would meet my needs and did not try to saddle me with something beyond my needs. I have a twice a year maintenance agreement, spring and fall, that guarantees that the systems are in top running order (my house has two zones). I hope the humidifiers improve the house's comfort this winter.

I received a detailed estimate from Jim after he visited and discussed my needs with me. We spoke by phone and he sent a contract. I signed the contract and returned it to him with my deposit. We talked by phone to set up a date I wanted the work done. I received a call the day before the work was to be done confirming the date.
The workers, headed by Jim's son , arrived on time. They proceeded to do the work with a minimum of disturbance to the household. All of the work crew were pleasant and efficient. The best part was how quickly they were able to complete the job. I had expected the work to take two days. I was not looking forward to being without heat. The work was completed in just one day.
I have not received my final bill, yet. I will amend my review as needed then.

Tim promised that these units would make the home livable even in the most dire of heat waves. Two day installation, on time, neat, expert installation. Life saver!

Easy to deal with. No problems with installation. When they discovered original furnace was damaged in shipping, they gave us a better furnace for no extra money.

From the time tim came to give us an estimate to the conclusion of the project, everything was excellent. the staff also installed the units were the concrete professionals we could not have asked for a more positive experience.

The condensate lines for the wall mounted mini split A/C unit were buried under ground with no protection whatsoever. They corroded and leaked and had to be replaced less than 2years after it was installed. The contractor would not admit error or fix the unit with new condensate lines, properly covered. 3 other professional HVAC contractors said it was inexcusable that they buried lines with no protection. When this was mentioned to the contractor, he said it was contractor's choice whether or not to protect them. It cost us $1200 to fix the problem on the A/C unit that was less than 2 years old and used only a couple of times.

Tim was very professional and knowledgeable. Spotted potential issues before estimate was complete. Cheapest of three by a hair despite the other two companies missing some difficulties that would have been encountered when the job began.
Very neat work, had to remove molding and make some holes and did a great job of concealing damage.
Gave good advice on how to protect units in the winter.
Very fast completion and on time. Estimate given and work complete within a week of go being given.

The company replaced a section of pipe and a valve they said was bad for $1,100. Five weeks later they came back for the same problem and replaced a thermostat for $250. I think the thermostat was the problem all along and that I got a shiny new section of pipe that I didn't need. I know practically nothing about hvac, so take my ideas for what they're worth. I'm not giving them overall terrible scores because the second fix actually worked. I won't call them again, though.

These guys are great. It's a family owned business we've used for years. We recently had more work done and his younger son and another co-worker did the job. They were very knowledgeable, honest and did a great job. The final cost was less than the estimate so that was a huge bonus.

They had to check the compressor and all the mechanical parts of the air-conditioning system. They are very good. I was pretty pleased with the way they did the work. I will definitely be using them again this season.

- In response to an ad for a discount on a/c equipment, I contacted the owner Tim Gochinski. He came right away and checked the condenser I had. He offered to install a used unit for a reduced cost and it was done within a couple of weeks. This included a full warranty for a year.
- After this positive experience, I decided to enter into a contract with Pioneer Heating & Cooling to service my heating and a/c eauipment. Since the a/c was under warranty, this involved only the cost to service the furnace.

My hot water heater needed a solid pipe going from the inlet to the main gas valve someone years ago installed a flex pipe that is now a code violation. I called several companies to get an price on repair and because it was a small job I got NO call backs. To bad for them, because as it turned out my tank was shot and I needed a new one I found Pioneer heating and cooling on Angies list and Tim called right away we talked for a bit and I explained the problem and he said he would have a man there in the morning. He called that night and told me that the flue pipe had rotted and exhaust would soon be entering the home. He quoted me a fair price and the work time was set up and the job was done on time and I am very happy with his service, technisions and professionalism. Ask for Tim he's a great guy to talk to. hope this was helpful. ----- bob

Tim (owner) came and gave me an estimate for the work to be performed. I got two other estimates and decided to go with Pioneer Heating & Cooling. I scheduled an installation date and the techs arrived early in the am after calling and stating that they might be a little late because of a snow storm the night before. The techs worked through out the day and my new furnace was up and running by the afternoon. I was given an inservice on the new furnace and was told to call the office if I had any questions.
