+ 1 moreSteve and crew are amazing!! Steve made things happen in all the best ways, even dealing with an earlier-than-expected hot tub delivery. He’s flexible, gives excellent suggestions which show a lot of experience without being pushy, and seems like a super nice guy. His workers have been with him for a very long time which shows he treats them well - they’re nice guys, too, and they are ARTISTS when it comes to doing the wall design - it’s beautiful! My photo was taken before any landscaping, and the unfinished shed is our project :-)
Description of Work: We specifically focused on masonry - a reworking of much of our yard! A long retaining wall, patio and foundation for a hot tub, concrete pads for trash area and a rain barrel, new sidewalk from driveway to house, laid down sod afterwards

+ 0 moreThey called back immediately to discuss my hardscaping project with me, and we set up a time and date. No one showed up. I called later that day, and was told they had a situation, couldn't make it, and apologized. We set up another time and date two days later. No one showed up, and no one called. Very unprofessional.

+ -1 moreThey came very late but they gave us a discount. They called me and they said they were sorry that they were going to be late. They were three hours late. They called and made sure that someone was available. I had no other issues. They were good other than the fact that they were late. I’m happy with the mulch. Their rate was good compared to other prices.

Latchford finally stated he was too busy to write up estimate, and then stated he would show up to do the job at a particular time. Company never showed.

+ -1 moreSTEVE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO MY CONCERNS, AND WAS ABLE TO HELP ME MAKE CHANGES AS WE WENT ALONG. HE HAD A LOT OF HELPFUL IDEAS, AND RESPONDED QUICKLY TO PHONE CALLS. HIS TEAM WORKED QUICKLY AND NEATLY, GETTING THE MAIN WORK DONE PROMPTLY. THE PATIO AREA WAS DELAYED BY THE WEATHER, BUT IT WAS DONE BEAUTIFULLY IN THE END. HE CAME BACK WHEN ASKED TO MAKE THE INEVITABLE SMALL FIXES. MY NEIGHBORS WERE SO IMPRESSED, THAT SOME HAVE HIRED HIM AS WELL!
Description of Work: EXISTING LAWNS WERE REMOVED, AND REPLACED WITH SOD, AND HYDROSEED IN 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. 2 NEW PLANTING BEDS WERE CREATED. SOME EXISTING SHRUBS WERE REMOVED/MOVED. ADDITIONAL PACHYSANDRA WAS ADDED TO EXISTING BEDS. ALL BEDS WERE MULCHED, AND NEW LOAM ADDED IN SOME AREAS. A DOGWOOD WAS PLANTED IN THE FRONT LAWN. A 3-ZONE SPRINKLER SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED. A BLUESTONE PATIO WAS PULLED UP TO INSTALL A DRYWELL UNDERNEATH. THE PATIO WAS REINSTALLED AND LEVELED WITH A PAVING STONE EDGE ADDED. A NEW CURVED PLANTING AREA WITH A PAVING STONE EDGE WAS INSTALLED.
