I like to do all the handy"woman" stuff I can- but my clogged bathroom sink defeated me. I conceded and called Cand G Hercules Drain Co. based on Angie's list reviews and location close to me. They were out ASAP, showed up at 10:15 (allotted time was a 10-12 window) and finished in a professional and clean manner. I strongly recommend them and will keep their card for any future need I might have.

We called them at 10:30 am on New Year's Eve, and they were there in an hour with 3 guys. Another company had told us that we needed a front yard excavation for a collapsed pipe, which was going to cost $9200. C and G realized that the other company was actually hitting a trap, which is supposed to be in the pipe, and they would have excavated for no real reason. The actual clog was somewhere else, which took some hard labor to get to (breaking through part of a basement wall because it was past a T joing). Unlike the other plumbing company, they have the ability to scope the pipe with a camera before making claims about needing an expensive excavation. They said that they get calls like this a few times a week, and 99% of the time they can get it unclogged without an excavation. They unclogged the pipe for about $325, which allowed us to use our pipe again. Had it been a simpler clog, they said it would have been about $175. They will come on tuesday and replace the pipe properly and patch up the basement. Overall, they were extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, honest, punctual, and professional - all on New Year's Eve! I can't say enough about this company and will definitely use them again.

Cand G's great tech came, assessed, fixed without taking the speedy way out, which would have been messy, slow, and destructive to the pipe. Explained he problem, the solution, and then executed it. On top of it, a very nice guy who was prompt and polite.

Cand G is amazing — my drain has never been cleaner, and I'll definitely call them the next time I need any plumbing work. (sorry, regular plumber!) Price was a little on the high side for the time spent, but they are a specialty service and in the end, it was worth it to get my drain cleared so well.

They called us back quickly, set up a convenient time, and actually came when they said they would. They were courteous, efficient, effective, and reasonably priced. I couldn't have been happier!

They arrived promptly on time. They could not fix the outside drain-- but that was not their problem. It had to do more with the drain itself. It turns out it is not a real drain--more like a dry well. But they did make some excellent suggestions on how to alleviate the drainage problems.

C&G Hercules quoted a fixed rate $90 lower than anyone else, so I went with them based on price and rave reviews on Angie's List. They came today (same day) at the time they said they would, with a crew of three delightful, incredibly respectful guys. Rick knows his stuff down pat, Thad is the most polite guy I've met, and Nikko we so pleasant. They had the right equipment, including a Sawz-All to cut through the rusted cap, a powered snake, and dye that I flushed when they were done to confirm the system was working properly. Because they had to cut, they had to charge me $10 for a new cap. I'd imagine others would charge $40! Start to finish, the job took about an hour. C&G/Hercules is everything I look for in a vendor: good quality, fast service, great pricing, and easy to work with.

They are absolutely wonderful and very efficient. Their prices were exceptional compared to other companies.

I am happy with how timely they are and the fact that they do good work. I have also used them to put a camera down there and see if I needed a whole new main line and they looked and I did not. I felt they were very honest when doing that.
