It comes as no surprise to read all the rave reviews regarding Sam Cohen's superiority knowledge in his field, and his commitment to go above and beyond for successful outcomes. I had a mold issue which required repeated cleaning, and two prior mold inspections performed by a different company. For those who have had to deal with mold, it is a very scary, and tasking experience which often irritates eyes, throat and skin, not to mention long-term health implications. Even after mold remediation, there is no guarantee to rid of unwanted mold. In fact, that was the case in my situation because source of mold problem could not be clearly identified. After the second remediation, I searched for a different company to do follow-up inspection, primarily to compare reports from separate sources. Considering it was a blind search online, I mainly went off of customer feedback. Well, that is when my luck changed and Sam came to the rescue. Not only did he do a thorough job performing mold inspection utilizing various methods, including thermal imagery, amazingly, he also found the source of the leak that has been causing the mold. After stumping many specialists who suspected the HVAC system though no major leak was found, Sam resolved the issue by identifying the source to be external, outside the window seal. Much thanks to Sam, and I highly recommend his services to whomever may be in need.

Sam is an amazing guy, he really knows what he is doing. I was having problems with the condo association management not checking mold in my unit for a year and he checked it out and got the ball rolling in a day. We have been trying for a year to get things fixed and he was able to do it in a day—we are so grateful. My condo association management finally took it seriously, and started working on my house. We didn’t have to continue living with the mold. None of this would have been possible without his wonderful inspection skills and incredible help! He’s a wonderful person who showed real concern about our wellbeing. He worked his magic and just like that, work started getting done. I would highly recommend him!

I can't say enough about how professional, timely and amazing the service was. Marginal low radon, no mold.

Sam came the next morning after we contacted him. It took him only moments to identify the problem - sewer gas - and suggest a simple fix. He let me take video of him explaining the fix, so I could share it with our handyman. He then got on the phone with the handyman, who capped off the source hours later. The smell disappeared within hours. Sam was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and his suggestion was immediately effective. We have hired Sam before and will hire him again.

Sam was very responsive and was able to come by the house in Lincoln that afternoon between other appointments, which was much appreciated. Very busy time for him. Extremely nice on the phone. No mold or other problem detected. Unfortunately, there was an email address error, so there was a delay in receiving the very thorough air quality report. But once this error was tracked down, all very responsive and quick.

Very well! Solutions to the issues given promptly. Yes. I will hire this person again. Cost of job performed was less than $300.00.

Sam did an extremely thorough job of measuring mold and other contaminants in an old farmhouse in western Massachusetts. We have been having a lot of problems with mold in the house, and we wanted to thoroughly understand what was creating the mold and why it was traveling around the house. Sam wrote up a thorough report that helped us understand the "ecosystem" in the house and gave us clear, specific next steps.

Sam seemed very knowledgeable on the phone, and described in detail the services he proposed to check for mold in our building. We set a date for about two weeks later. On that day, he didn't show up. I called, and he had forgotten, but he came over a couple of hours later, and spent several hours doing his testing. He was very friendly and again seemed knowledgeable. At the end of the inspection, he said he would have a written report for us the following week. At the end of that week, I called to ask about the report. There was no response. I emailed him and left telephone messages at this office about every week for the next 7 weeks, without any response. After 8 weeks, he sent a mold inspection report attached to an email without any explanation or follow-up. The report was lengthy. I hope the contents are accurate results of testing in our building, and not just copied and pasted from other reports.

Very well - Sam was very knowledgeable and tested EVERYTHING. He was patient and explained everything to me. He didn't use scare tactics most mold companies use - CONFLICT OF INTEREST! Hire Sam before calling a mold remediation company to see what really needs to get done.

Sam was knowledgeable, and responsive. His advice and subsequent report were very helpful to us as we planned our approach out cleaning out our basement.

Phenomenal - Sam was incredibly responsive. He suggested getting in right away and moved things around to accommodate us. He could not have made me feel more at ease with the process and got tests to a lab the same day. He advised us on how to move forward, and everyone else I dealt with at Envirotest was just as accommodating, kind and easy to work with. We got the estimate back same day that I had called. I hope that the sale goes through so we can use them to do the work!

I like his analysis. What I remember is that he gave me a very realistic review of the basement environment. He made recommendations. They were overly costly. He gave a very reasonable analysis, and cost wise on how we could correct what he felt was a minor problem. So we were relived by his analysis. I thought the price was quite reasonable.

Great - 32 page report was thorough and had excellent recommendations.

Steve made very quick arrangements to see us after we called. He ran a few minutes late due to traffic, but he called to let us know that he was hitting traffic. He was very prompt and professional and he also discovered that our water heater was about to fail (for which we were very grateful). Overall, great job

Sam came and ran a bunch of tests, and checked out our attic. While we are still waiting for the mold tests to come back, he did spot some mold in our attic that needs to be fixed. He also noted that our air has lots of fine dust in it, which is caused by our attic's lack of proper ventilation. (Because the attic isn't properly ventilated, it is pulling the air up into the attic and pulling dust from our lower level's heating unit all throughout the house.) He gave us suggestions for how to fix it, which we'll be doing! (We'll also have him back to check our radon levels in the mid-winter.)

Sam was great. Very professional and a very good price for the service. He performed the tests quickly and talked me through his concerns and what we saw. He was very thorough and helpful. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to others.

I called the office to look into getting a quote and was connected with Sam who happened to be relatively close by so he came out within an hour. He walked through the house and explained a few issues that jumped out (some issues not related to mold/ice dams which I thought was great of him to point out). Fortunately for me there weren't any major mold issues (a little bit in our attic which he had great advice for addressing). The equipment he used was top of the line and the price he charged was very reasonable. He is not in the remediation business which I think is a huge plus for him as I felt comfortable that his recommendations are not steered toward him making additional money to fix issues. I would highly recommend him!!!

Sam inspected the house we are buying for mold. He was very thorough and professional. His very clear and specific recommendations were extremely helpful when we were discussing remediation with sellers before purchasing our home. We would definitely recommend them.

We had bad air qualty in our home, Sam Identified several areas of concern and gave a list of things to do to improve the air quality - After impementing them we now have great air!! Since the winter storms of February of 2015 I have been going through a never ending nightmare in my townhouse.?? I have been in never ending battles with Commerce and?another company.? In addition to all the damage to my home I? developed a distinct, foul odor throughout my house.? I have had adjusters and 13 different companies in my home.? I was told he was the best and I can attest, he is.?He is extremely busy because of this.? ?After all of the various companies, Sam was the only one to find the problem (literally within minutes).? Not only was he able to identify the problem, he was able to substantiate it with his highly advanced?technology.? He provided me with a 30-page report to provide to my association.? Sam also made himself available and quickly responded to numerous phone calls, text messages and voice mails.?He even responded when I texted him while he was away on vacation!???He never made me feel like a bother, was professional and responsive at all times.? Sam went above and beyond in all aspects of his work, particularly with the time and care he afforded me.?
