Auto Service
They performed the routine 3000 mile maintenance servicing which was due but I elected to also have some much needed maintenance work done at the same time. see the list below:
REPAIR, REPLACE and MAINTENANCE List for Yr: 2000 Make: Mazda - B-3000 pickup truck
Fuel Filter <> replace with new
Battery <> check, fill & advise
Spark Plugs & Wires?? <> inspect & replace as necessary
Cooling System <> drain and flush radiator cooling system
<> replace with green coolant, set for winter temps
<> inspect hoses & replace if needed
<> replace thermostat & gasket
Drive (fan) Belt <> replace with new belt - this one squeals when it's damp out
Air Cleaner Filter <> replace with new one
PCV Valve <> replace with new one
Inspect & Lube Mechanicals <> steering linkage, ball joints, suspension & driveshaft - repair as needed
<> check brakes & brake cables
<> wheel bearing end play & adjust if needed
<> inspect exhaust system for issues
Rear Shocks <> replace with standard duty OEM type
Tires <> rotate tires, check air pressure, (include spare tire for air pressure check)
Door, Hood & Tailgate Hinges <> lubricate all hinges
They performed ALL the work requested and only repaired or replaced what was needed which is customary for this repair facility. They are extremely well trained, experienced, honorable and trustworthy. I have been using them for ALL of my vehicles through the years (my vehicles have been Chevy and Ford Pickup business trucks, my personal vehicles: Buick, Pontiac, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan, Jaguar, Classic T-Bird, Lincoln, and the list goes on) since 1965 and have never ever once been disappointed in the work they performed for me. They always stand behind every job they do too. If something is noticed that could be a problem they will inform me as well as show me what they found which will need attention. If I requested something to be done that is not needed they will tell me it was not necessary, saving me money in the process.
They are a straight up honorable facility and everyone I have ever sent to them has become long term repeat customers as well. Walk-in appointments aren't usually possible due to their popularity and demand but there are times I've gotten lucky for something simple or quick. There has even been those few occasions, like when I drove over a nail and needed a tire leak plugged they did it immediately and didn't even charge me for the service. Now that's customer service...
