They were very friendly and polite. They do A+ work and the wood stove insert we purchased from them works and looks great. I would definitely recommend them.

He did some work in the spring and July. The, he did a big job last summer. He rebuilt the chimney, pointed and foundation because my house was built in the 1800s. He fixed an area that a previous contractor did not fix. He's really good. He's not cheap, but he is good, very, very good.

It went well. Prompt, professional, kept me informed and cleaned up after the job. Also, only charged me as per estimate even though he found more masonry repair as he went along. I rated "good" for price only because I have no basis for comparison.

I was really happy with the work of Tri-State Chimney Service. The guys cleaned the pellet stove and chimney really well and quite quickly. They didn't leave a mess and made sure there were no mechanical issues with the stove before leaving.

The project went very well. Communication was excellent by both phone and email. Some rescheduling was necessary to do some nasty spring weather but when it finally cleared, they were on site when promised.
Due to the height and location of my chimneys scaffolding was necessary for both (see photo) Excellent safety and housekeeping was maintained through the project.
The final product looks very appealing.
Overall, I am very happy with Mike's work and will be calling him back for resealing or any other needed chimney repairs.

The work went smoothly and was done professionally. We discussed before hand that the bricks should blend in as much as possible, the selection of bricks Tri-State was able to find helped achieve this. The masonry is aligned properly and looks beautiful. The sealer was a suggestion by Mr. Dintino because our chimney is on the north side of the house and does not get sunlight. We see it has made a difference and are very happy we went with the suggestion. The crew arrived promptly and Mr. Dintino was on site as well, they were all professional and cleaned up each evening to minimize the impact on our access to the house. We have used Tri-State to clean our chimney for several years, we are very happy with the work and would recommend them in the future.

The job was really tough as the chimney was crumbling to pieces. Mike had to break open and rebuild parts of the chimney in the basement because the chimney narrowed at the bottom; he did all this without additional cost. Mike was a real stand-up guy and got the job done on-time in budget.

We had to reschedule due to weather a couple weeks prior, so he came on a Saturday to do the job. Worked was performed exactly as described. The cleanup was great, very little mess.
Price was spot on with the estimate, even though he had to work more time than expected because part of the job was in a hard to access area.

When I initially booked the appointment, he made me aware there was a good chance that it may have to be rescheduled due to a large job he had during the week. I was fine with this as I was just looking to put it on the calander. He contacted me before the scheduled date to reschedule, and was even willnig to come out on a day he typically he had off which was generous. He was very professional and explained what he was there to do. He also walked me through and explained to me the issues with the broken wood stove and what would need to be done to be replaced. He was very knowledgable about the woods stove issues in addition to the chimney. The chimney sweep was done well and he kept the place very clean. Overall, Mike was very professional and I plan to use him in the future for other Chimney/Wood stove issues I may have and highly recommend him.

We received a quote and the cost of the job was right on the money.

Mike was very professional, did the work in the time frame discussed, returned phonecalls promptly and for a few extra bucks repaired some of the shingles around our Chimney because we had a roof in poor condition.

The house is old with a difficult chimney to reline, The work in the basement could have been a little cleaner, but definately does the job where he mated the liner to the furnace and water heater, but I think he did the best with what he could work with space wise, and staying within budget.

I would definately recommend.
