The experiences with them has gone very well. There work is very satisfactory.

Our basement was leaking and we needed somebody to come in and fix it because there was water running down the board and they promise 24 hours service for practically anything you ask for.  They are wonderful and I have used them probably for 25 to 30 years.  The most recent work they did for was when I went down to the basement and discovered that there was water running down a wall between 2 big rooms in the basement.  We don’t use the basement so when water is running down the wall there is something wrong and I called them.  What was going on was that we were having a hole in a pipe and so they came in they figured out where it was and fixed the pipe.  There aren’t many people whom we can call and get them in 24 hours.  If you need a new water heater they will be in there in a day and you will have a new water heater that will work.  They have done very good job for years.  I have never had a problem with them.  They promise to be there within 24 hours, they promise to get the job done and every single time I have ever hired them over for the last 30 years it gets done.  They are not expensive.

The job was done very professionally and thoroughly. I especially appreciated the technician explaining precise details about the heating system that would be helpful in an emergency. The 2 men who came were very pleasant and also careful in venting the forced hot water radiators.

They did a great job.

I was going out of town.  Kirkland & Shaw answered the phone promptly, came the morning after I called, and did a thorough, efficient job of the installation.  The service man was punctual and polite.  In all, it was a very pleasant experience.

They took care of everything extremely well. I was excited for them to come in do the reconditioning work that was needed. They were very prompt and very professional. I asked them questions and they answered everything properly so I knew they would be able to complete the job. The job was done in such a way it will remain a part of the house for as long as it is here. They were a delightful group and I would recommend them to anyone.

They were professional, timely and explained what he did and what the next steps were. It was a Friday night and he help calm our concerns.

Work was done on time, at stated price, courteously, professionally. The new equipment seems to be working perfectly.

The first guy that came tried to use a thawing machine which didn't work.  He also tried some other things from inside the basement with no results.  The second guy came several days later and actually went into the crawlspace and was able to find and repair the damage.  To be fair, it was also much warmer outside when the second guy came.

I’ve been very impressed with them. They came twice and they were excellent. I got 2 different plumbers that were really good. They both took care of the issues I had. They were very prompt, efficient and clean. I called them for something and they detected something else and it was a big thing. He found out that the pipe that’s going from under the toilet down to the basement, there was a crack on that pipe so he had to change that and he did it. He explained it to me and he went out and got the materials and he got it done and I have no problems since then. He took care of it in time because I was leaving for my vacation. These guys are excellent. They are little different in the sense that they don’t tell you what it will cause but they will deal with you later. They send the bill and it’s all laid out nicely but until the bill comes, I have no clue what it will cost me. I wish I’ve known but it was for the work done and it seems fine. They were on time. The second time, he was running a little late but he called me. So they were very good at least in letting me know he is delayed.

Excellent service! Came out on the same day we called, and performed the service in about an hour.  Will definitely use K&S again for future heater service!

They were very good, I was very satisfied.  Everything went really fine.

I can't say enough good things about Kirkland and Shaw.  From the very first phone call they went  "above and beyond".  We asked six people to bid.  Three came to see the job but never submitted a bid.  Two others really didn't want to do everything.  This was a big undertaking for us and we had lots of questions.  Everyone at Kirkland and Shaw was exceptional - answering our questions, helping us along the way, even helping us navigate the National Grid minefield (another story).  We started this project in May and we got heat on October 28th.  They always returned phone calls and e-mails promptly and most of all did what they said they were going to do when they said they would -  that doesn't happen anymore. The project manager (Tom) and the men they sent (Andy and Corey) were very professional and did excellent work. There was no skimping or corner cutting, all parts and materials were top notch. Everything turned on, started up, and is running perfectly.  We were very satisfied and paid when we received the bill, Then they even sent  a letter thanking us for being a customer.  Kudos and thanks to everyone at Kirkland and Shaw.

They were fine.  My water heater was under warranty so I didn't have to pay the full price of the new water heater. 

Came the next day after being called.  Did all the work required.  To install the garbage disposal and fix the sink drain involved redoing the drain plumbing.

The installation was effortless for him. Our previous plumber unsuccessfully tried to do the install.

I called the office on a Sunday and left a message on the answering machine.  The next morning I got a call back and was told that a serviceman would be there in an hour.  In exactly one hour he showed up.  I showed him the problem and he knew exactly where to go to resolve the problem.  In fifteen minutes the problem was resolved and he was on his way.
The serviceman was friendly and very professional and left no mess.
My first thought when I received the bill was that it was too high for 15 minutes but then I thought of the normal service charge for just showing up and then I felt that the bill was fair and appropriate. 
I would definitely contact them again for any future plumbing problem

Plumber and apprentice arrived as scheduled.  They were courteous and professional.  Work was done quickly and efficiently.  Job was successful.  I would fully recommend Kirkland and Shaw.

Very responsive, polite, efficient, they do good work, and make good recommendations.  We have used them for 38 years and will continue to use them.  I would highly recommend them.
