I called about 2 weeks in advance, Chris gave a quote over the phone, saved the date, came out on the date. Did a great job, stayed at the price he quoted which I think he should've charged more for all the work he did!! highly recommend!

We were preparing our home to put on the market and had not cleaned the carpets in my 12+ years living here. They were light colored, and in two of the rooms had some high-traffic spots that showed the dirt. Chris was prompt, a one-man cleaning operation, moved a few pieces around for us, and did a great job overall. The cleaner he used had a pleasant smell that did not last long. We only needed to stay off the rugs for a few hours and even then, they were pretty dry as he left. Nice touches at the end - a bottle of cleaning stuff for spot removal and a nice note. Chris was polite, careful, thorough, and professional. We'd use him again in a heartbeat.

If I have Chris back a 2nd time, it'll look 100% brand new, I'm sure. I've had it cleaned each of the past 7 years since owning it by another company, spending $300 or so each year w/ them. The last few times, they weren't able to get out the ground in black residue that they said was from body perspiration. Chris, however, did a really great job, and put a big dent in removing what was there, making it look almost new. It's much cleaner than when the other cleaners were finished the last few years. We never discussed price before he started, and when he said $100 when done, I couldn't believe it: 10 times better quality of work at 3 times lower price than I've been accustomed to. Plus, I live on the top floor, and he lugged his equipment up a flight of 66 steps. WOW sums the whole thing up!

One of the best overall experiences I've had on Angie's List. A model for how to operate a business and work with your customers. In fact I received a handwritten thank you card from Chris, the owner! Now that' a service I will be using many times in the future.

Chris was prompt to respond to my first and subsequent inquiries, arrived at the house on time, spent the expected amount of time doing the work (about 3 hours), was courteous and professional throughout. The rugs and furniture came out great, and we'd recommend him to friends and hire him back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Chris!

I have had them out twice. They were very responsive and on time. The pricing was great and their cleaning service was great. I would use them again.

Chris did an excellent job. We need another area cleaned as well but there is still some work to be done on that part of the house. Chris was flexible and fine with doing some areas at one time and coming back to clean another area at a later time.

Had a horrible ink spill from a pen on our upholstered ottoman/coffee table. It penetrated the cushion below the material and the very expensive material is not removeable like a couch pillow cushion. Chris explained by phone, after having me send photos by email, that he would try his best but depending on how much pentrated the cushion, he may not be able to get it all out. Said if he could not he would not charge me! He was very communicative regarding the problem and coming when he said he would which was the very next day after my call. As it turned out he worked for a long time on the spot and couldn't remove it in its entirety. But please note several other cleaners I called also warned me that this would be impossible to remove. Chris, however, did get the spot to a point that I could live with. It is now just a slight discoloration that if you were not looking for, may even miss. Since I was satisfied, he suggested half price, $25. which I more than gladly paid considering all other cleaners would have charged the full price regardless.

Chris arrived promptly and was very professional. When we spoke over the phone, I had requested that he use a cleaning solution without fragrance and he was happy to accommodate. When he saw that my sectional was not that big, he actually quoted me a lower price than we had discussed over the phone. He got to work quickly and was careful to put towels underneath the furniture to make sure than no moisture got on the hardwood floor. He worked carefully and efficiently. Both couches looked great after cleaning, especially the loveseat which was older and dirtier. Chris also removed a stain from my carpet at no additional charge. I am planning to call him again to do a complete cleaning of some wall-to-wall carpeting.

They arrived on time, did the work quickly, were polite and professional throughout. They left me with a bottle of carpet cleaner and instructions for use. My only issue was that I was told the smell of the carpet cleaner would be gone within a few hours, but in fact the smell lingered strongly for about 1 week and then mildly for 1-2 weeks afterwards. Because I'd done my bedroom, this made it difficult to sleep. That said, now that I know what to expect, I would still call them again.

Chris responded to my Angie's list request the same day I requested a quote for the work. He offered several times to have the work done.....responded (again!) promptly when we decided on a date and showed up on time. Incredibly professional and pleasant......would highly recommend his work. He got the wine stains out as well!

It went great! The dining room chairs cleaned up beautifully - like new! The couch looks great - it has a pattern so it was hard to see any dirt, but I know that its clean now. I knew the chair would be particularly difficult to clean as it had 5 years of dirt build up from our 2 golden retrievers, and while it isn't pristine clean, Chris was able to get about 90% of the dirt off the chair itself. The cushion still has some built in stains, but I was really impressed with how good it looks. It took about 12 hours for everything to dry completely.

This is the second time we've used Crystal Cleaning. Very professional. Thorough, Business-like. Does excellent work. A real value for the service. I would highly recommend.

I had previously had them steam cleaned with awful results. These cleaners REALLY cleaned them and they came out awesome.

Chris was professional and responsive throughout the process. He even responded to an inquiry late on a Sunday night. Chris made a Saturday appointment for us and was right on time. The furniture was cleaned to our satisfaction. We will certainly use Chris in the future.

Chris was just great from beginning to end. Got back to me right away. Came the day before Thanksgiving. Cleaned a 17 year old couch that now looks like new. Also, four area rugs some of which had some real problem areas and I had contemplated getting rid of. Now they are looking great. Chris is clearly a professional and takes pride in his work.

Excellent. Chris returned my call immediately and arrived right on schedule. He was very professional, efficient and a pleasure to have work in my house. He assessed the situation, and was honest and clear about the result. He worked steadily quickly and thoroughly. He knew exactly the best cleaning method for each piece of furniture. This was not an easy job. My sofas and chairs are all old, bedragled and hadn't been cleaned in years. Now that Chris has done the daunting work of cleaning them, they look beautiful! I would confidently recommend Chris Hickey and will be delighted to use his services in the future.

It went very well. Chris replied promptly, accommodated my restricted schedule, and emailed back several times to answer my questions. It came down to two firms, one of which was slightly cheaper. I did a little research and found that the other vendor?s truck-based methods were less effective than the carbonated method that Chris used. So I chose Chris and was very pleased. Chris arrived at the time he proposed and did a great job. The sofa was extremely soiled, and Chris was able to remove all but one small, really badly stain. And I had not known how dirty the carpets were until I saw how good they looked after he was done. Having the two car seats cleaned was a real luxury. Also, Chris moved all the furniture, saving me a great deal of pre-and post-cleaning work. He even left a big bottle of his cleaner behind for spot cleaning.
