YIF Management

The sole owner of YIF Management is a man by the name of KJ - this man is truly a nightmare as a service provider. Ask yourself, before doing business with this man, is this the type of company that you want managing your property? We have e-mails of him berating residents of the property that he manages, calling them "dead"beats - not even realizing that these same folks are owners of their units. Yikes. He also prioritizes the wealthier neighborhoods to make a buck while leaving innocent people in the inner city neighborhoods to struggle badly...and during a pandemic. Again, yikes. Further more, we've had 3 storms this year and have been completely ignored with regards to snow removal. A plow was sent once (during the BEGINNING of the first storm) and as a result, the snow froze with a layer of ice on top. KJ ignored all requests for snow removal until it was escalated and property owners started complaining aggressively. He turned things around only to keep his contract, not to take care of his paying clients. We had to get rid of him for interior cleaning and hire a new service because he completely dropped the ball. And the final straw is with our active fire exit - by the way, this entry is used everyday by residents. Not only has KJ ignored all requests to clean the exit staircase, but there's not a froze layer of ice making it extremely dangerous. We have elderly and small children using these exits and walkways which I've fall several times and struggle to walk to their cars. Do a little research before taking my word for it. I'd start by looking up YIF on bbb.org to see a history of complaints. You've been warned, run far.
