 + -1 moreThe C2D team was wonderful. They had to be very persistent in getting the building permits - it took at least four trips to town hall and a couple of letters signed by my condo neighbors. On a daily basis, they left the house clean of construction debris and their tools etc in an orderly fashion in a discrete area - and never let out either of my cats. They faced every obstacle with optimism and good cheer. And a month after they'd finished up and were fully paid, they came back to make one little touch up I requested. All this was done on just a hand shake, without a detailed contract (although one was offered), and I couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: I had a bathroom fit for a student slum, duct tape and plastic sheeting included. Just a month before major surgery, I decided it needed a complete gut rehab. I raced around and selected the fixtures, tile, lighting, etc for pick up at a later date by C2D. Like many remodeling jobs, during the renovation, a couple of unexpected discoveries were made. First of all, the bathroom floor was 5 inch thick concrete - in all there were several extra tons of debris to be removed. This was made difficult because some of the floor joists were rotted almost clear through. And then almost all the walls were framed with little scraps of unconnected wood. Just before I went to the hospital I saw a gutted room that looked like it was held together with spit and glue. I put my trust in C2D to rebuild it all. When I got home, I had a beautiful new bathroom, just the way I'd envisioned it - complete with a washer and dryer. My kids tease me - saying I'll be serving meals in the new bathroom I like so much.
