I use T-Mobile and we hate them. I am still currently using them. It's well over $200 because we have a family plan. I think they're suppose to be cheaper than some of the others. Quality is sort of where they really fail. They don't have as many sites as other places. There are a lot of places that have dark zones. I think they misrepresented what they were selling. It was a cell phone but they misrepresented, they made it sound like I would not incur any additional costs and that wasn't the case. I haven't had that many personal dealings with them so it's hard to say for punctuality. Their big problem is that they don't have the coverage.

I have been with them for over 10 years. They were in a Kiosk in a mall and I saw them for emergency purposes. They have been fine but lately, my husband and I do not text but my son does. We don't have a contract now but they are expensive.

Numerous problems over the years. One time I called customer service to ask how much it was to add a line...the next day I was notified that a line had been added and a phone was being shipped! The phone sales rep must have been working on commission, she even picked out the phone for me! Another time I was adding a line and phone at a T-Mobile Kiosk, and when the sales rep rung me up, he realized the price he had quoted me was wrong (he didn't understand the promotion), and I was told it was double. I said no thanks, and he proceeded to insist that all I had to do was wait for the phones to be shipped to me, and I could ship them back. He called customer service in front of me and lied and tried to say that I had simply changed my mind while standing there (the transaction counted as an upgrade for me). I left and had to call customer service myself and straighten it out. The final straw was when my adult son was leaving for college and wanted out of the plan. My account online showed his phone was out of contract, so he switched to Verizon to get an IPhone. I then received a $300 dollar charge for breaking the contract...it seems that my contract with T-Mobile had somehow been extended without my knowledge or permission. I researched online and discovered that many customers were having this problem. I called and was told that the only thing I could do was to keep another line open until my plan expired, for five dollars a month. I needed to stay with T-Mobile for another 6 months. Finally, I called T-Mobile and verified that my contract was indeed expired on June 18th. On the 19th I went to Verizon, ordered new phones and ported the numbers. A few days later I went onto my online billing account, just to double check it was canceled, and was locked out of my account....it showed all three numbers not active. I didn't think any more about it. Then I received a bill for the entire billing period, and decided to call and double check that this would be my final bill. I spent about 30 minutes navigating their phone prompts, because my number showed inactive, they kept trying to send me to sales. Finally got a person in customer service, spent ten minutes explain that I was verifying that my account was closed, when he said he couldn't help me, he had to transfer me to retention. The "retention specialist" told me that my third line was indeed still active, and that they would be billing me the entire charge for August also. I explained that I used online billing, and was shut out of my account, so I wasn't able to verify this and cancel online...she said I "should have called". I said that it was almost impossible to get through to customer service, because the prompts kept taking me in circles as I didn't have an active account! Bottom line.....T-Mobile has a history of shady business practices, and I will never use them again. Have been happy with Verizon, they have been very simple and straightforward to deal with.

I have had them for five years and I pay as I go, I buy their $100 refill whenever my minutes get finished. I don't belong to a plan and I pay for whatever kind of minutes I want, like I can pay $100 and they would give me one-year to use it, but the one that I have is for six months, which is $50. I have a basic old phone anyway. When I get low on minutes, I just get on the computer and refill. I have text, which is like 10 cents, but I am not into texting. I just use the basic service and the service is okay. I am not a businessperson so I never need to get on a plan, and I never use these 3G, 4G phones anyway, so it just works with what my needs are so I stuck on. They are okay but they are not the best. The price is good because I get what I pay for.
