Our moving crew showed up on time, and moved our stuff from the storage unit to our apartment in about four hours (five including travel time). They were fast, professional and resourceful. We would be happy to use Stairhopper Movers again.

Getting a reliable online estimate for movers is usually a huge pain and usually wildly inaccurate. I used their site, entered my inventory and my final total was within $25 of the estimate, which BTW was $1000 less than Gentle Giant. Two guys moved me from a Back Bay brownstone with spiral stairs to the Waterfront in 3 hours start to finish. Unreal.

Trying to move during a pandemic and with a 1-year-old in tow is...not easy. It was very simple to book with Stairhopper, and the movers arrived on time and with all necessary supplies. They were friendly, incredibly professional and efficient, and they helped us with some last minute packing that we weren't able to finish due to the aforementioned 1-year-old. Oh, and I should mention that it was snowing and quite cold, and due to a neighbor's car being in the way they weren't able to use their loading ramp; however, none of that impacted their level of care or service during a grueling 10-hour move. I very highly recommend Stairhopper. I have absolutely no complaints.

I’ve used Stairhopper 4 times using both small and larger trucks. The crew has always been careful with our antiques and, unlike previous moves, we’ve never had anything damaged. Crew has always been willing to go above and beyond until we were satisfied everything was complete.

I was able to book them with one week’s notice on an unexpected move. They show availability online and call right away to confirm. They sent a friendly, hard working crew. The move took twice as long as estimated (I had far more stuff than anticipated) and they were cheerful and worked hard the whole time, never complaining even though they’d already done a move that morning, making for probably a 12 hour day. They were very careful with all items - wrapping all furniture and fragile things. They also dealt with 2 sets of extremely narrow stairs and there’s not a scratch to be found anywhere. They made sure while packing up and dropping off that things were done properly and did 2 walkthroughs with me. They also rebuilt my furniture and bef (that was hugely appreciated!). The home office team confirmed the move several times and called during to check how it was going. Cash discount (awesome!), competitive pricing and great service. I’m a happy customer!

Sebastian and the team with Stairhoppers did an awesome job helping us move into a new house! They were timely, friendly, efficient and careful. Our move lasted from about 9am-5pm, so the guys worked a very full day but were pleasant the entire time. We really appreciated the care they took with our belongings, including reassembling furniture they had to disassemble for transport and relocating a few items in the new house so that things were where we wanted them. Highly recommend!

Movers worked quickly and efficiently to fully pack an apartment home and executed the move to a Back Bay apartment with walk-up and elevator. Phone operators were attentive and responsive. I’d recommend and use Stairhopper for a residential move again.

The move went really smoothly but took about an hour longer than expected, and therefore the price was higher than I expected. But management adjusted the price for me in the end so it was fair. Would definitely use service again!

Gyula, Rene, and Daniel moved me and my wife into our new home last week. They were incredibly fast and efficient. We had two items that needed to be hoisted out of our second-floor apartment. They got these oversized items out with ease and without doing any damage to the front porch they hoisted over. Overall, they were reasonably priced, very professional, and so much faster than I expected. They helped make our move so so much easier. I would definitely hire them again.

Fantastic. The guys showed up earlier than scheduled but called to make sure it was ok first, which was appreciated. When they arrived, they crushed it - they were super thorough, very careful with our stuff, and were fast. Add to that the fact that they did the job for nearly 40% less than other movers had quoted the same job for and I can’t rate these guys highly enough. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely use them again for any future move.

Alex and his team helped my partner and I move from a one bedroom filled to the brim with stuff to a much larger three bedroom across town that had the tiniest, narrowest stairs you've ever seen. The team was prompt, worked fast, packed all of our furniture with care, disassembled our tables where needed, managed a huge truck on our tiny new street, and got every single piece of massive furniture up those stairways with NO trouble. We'd had friends betting money that our huge three seat couch would end up on the curb, but these guys assured me that they'd seen it all - and in a matter of minutes it was up those tiny stairs, feet screwed back on, and pushed into place! They also had the best rates in town, and we will definitely be calling them again for any future moves.

We are young and this was our first time using movers. We had a lot of heavy crap to lug down very narrow tight steep stairs and I am so so pleasantly surprised by our experience. They were incredibly kind, gentle, caring of our stuff and super efficient. I will always use them going forward we are very happy with how things were handled and done so fast!!

I have moved for the 3rd time in 5 years and have used StairHopper Movers each time. These guys are AWESOME!!!! The movers did a phenomenal job. They called a couple hours before their expected time of arrival to ask if they could start working earlier which worked well for us. They were fast and efficient with wrapping up some of our furniture, disassembling our two beds and moving everything to their truck. It took about 3-4 hours for everything to be done. I highly recommend their service!
