The set up proved easy and complete. I had each system working within an hour of opening the box. System monitoring proves accurate, courteous, and punctual.

We purchased this for our daughter who is a single Mom and who really did not want to go into a contract commitment. If only we had seen this for ourselves before we were tied into a 3 year contract! Anyway installation was a breeze and she had her first activation on Friday. The monitoring center called her immediately and even me (I am on the beach on holiday in Mexico) they sent the Police out there straight away.Nothing to worry about but It was absolutely brilliant. ~ having the peace of mind is fantastic. Having online control of setting her alarm system wonderful, ~ while she is busy with our Grandson and hasn't set the alarm on "home" mode I just go online check her status and set it for her. A voice activation message is played through the system to notify her that it is now on. Thank you SimpliSafe I will echo your name and your product all over and you know what they say... I tell a few friends and they tell a few friends....Thank you for an awesome product!!! Will highly recommend this product to anyone.

I installed all sensors and wireless base station without any issues. My only complaint is that they have no glass break sensors. I would also like to see real time temp measurements available on those sensorse temperature sensors. There is also no video available

We love our security system. It was so easy to install and does exactly what we want. We like the system so much that we purchased additional sensors to add onto it.

I installed the system very quickly. I was impressed with how quickly I was able to install the system itself. I also got subscribed to the monitoring service. I had one little issue that I got in touch with them on. They were quick to respond by email and phone.

So far we have had the alarm system for a year with no problems. IT works goods and we are glad we got it. The cellular phone system it works off is good in our area. We did order the louder speaker and put it in the garage so the neighbors would hear it if it went off. I would recommend getting another alarm speaker for inside the house. From the back of the house with any amount of noise it is hard to hear. We accidently set the alarm off when letting the dogs out but could not hear it over the tv. So we are ordering another speaker to put inside the back part of the house. It was very easy to install. I did use screws to install most of the sensors just so I did not have to worry about the tape failing but there has been no problem after a year for the ones with just tape. I looked at several other alarm systems and this one was very economical per month, no contracts, can add on, and easy to use. Definitely recommend.

The service turned out well and I have no complaints with the experience. I spoke with a customer service representative and they were very professional. The package arrived on time and the system is working to my liking. The service was satisfactory.

Our experience with them went well. We purchased the big deal coupon. We did all the installing ourselves. It was a system we could design our self and set up our self. They've been very helpful and if we have questions they answer. If we fail to turn the alarm off we always get a call so whoever monitors the system is very quick to respond.

Extremely easy to install and configure. I'm pretty happy with the service. We've had a few false alarms (our fault) and they always call within less then a minute to check. The "B" on the "Quality" rating is because I had problems with a couple of sensors which just stopped working. I called them and they replace them right away at no cost though.

After looking around and using Angie's we settle on Simplisafe on the basis of their rating and overall cost. Simplisafe only charges #15 a month for monitoring, everyone else is at least twice that. I installed the system which includes smoke detector monitoring, got the permits and it works fine. Their customer service is great and the system works even better than I suspected it would. A great buy that I wouldn't have heard of without Angie's list. I figure we are saving between $200 and $300 a year with Simplisafe.

It was a smooth transaction. easy installation (yourself - so you don't have to be home during business hours) wont sell you extra sensors etc that you probably wont use does not need to be hardwired cheapest on the market if you want it for a short time and without a commitment great service!

There was one small issue but they did take care of it.

The alarm was easy to install. No issues. We used it at another location, where we did have a couple issues but after contacting the company, the "no base connection" was resolved by adjusting the sim card in the base unit. The smoke alarm had an issue, too, but was resolved after received a new model. We are happy with the system, and the alarm monitoring company.

We were very pleased with the excellent service, quick shipping and ability to answer questions as we were installing. It was really easy and immediately effective. We purchased the service to monitor the alarms via Smartphone. This has been really wonderful. As members of the family come and go, we know exactly who is there, which method is being used for entering/leaving and any alarm issues. The customer service rep also noted that cell signals were stronger with a different local carrier than what was installed, so we have been sent an alternate chip to replace the existing chip in the base unit. We've had a few signal issues prior that we hope will be fixed. We also purchased and installed water sensors, temperature sensors, break-glass sensors and additional motion sensors. Very cool system that the neighbors are interested in purchasing for themselves, as well. Monitoring costs are acceptable.

It went great. They shipped the alarm system and I installed it myself. The system was relatively inexpensive and very easy to install. The monitoring was reasonable as well. They shipped the system very quickly. I had one question and they answered it very promptly via e-mail.

They were good. The alarm is a self-install. I got it in the mail pretty fast. They have good support team over the phone. I bought two other things but they didn’t upsell me, I just chose to buy them. It’s very do-it-yourself. They do what they say they’re gonna do, nothing more and nothing less. They’re very good about calling back.

Very easy to install. Base monitoring is $14 per month, but went with upgraded monitoring with links to iPhone, text messages on status, etc for $24 per month. Their equipment links directly to through cell signal (customer does NOT get involved with cell companies, that is part of Simplisafe's monthly fee). NOTE: Their default cell linkage is through T-MOBILE. Didn't have good enough signal from T-Mobile; they switched out linkage to use Verizon. Great signal through Verizon. If you order from them and do not have good T-Mobile signal in your location, be sure to let them know so they can provide Verizon linkage equipment.||All sensors, motion detectors, and keypads were easy to install. They come with 3-M adhesive strips attached -- just peal off protective strip and press into place. Decided to move keypad after first few days. No problem AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. ||Very easy to customize the system. Can be done from keypad but is far easier to do online. Can set delay times for entry and exit, multiple pass codes (with identification for each so you can see who was in the house, can set which sensors/detectors are active when you set the "home" setting for partial coverage while you are in the house, how each sensor/detector reacts to being tripped when the full alarm is active, etc.. ||If you have the $24 per month monitoring instead of the $14 per month monitoring, you can set up what (and when) information is texted and/or emailed and to whom.||Other detectors (e.g., smoke, water leak, temperature) are available but haven't added any of them yet. Most are priced about $29 and it looks like it is very easy to link them to an existing system. From what I remember, you can have about two dozen sensors linked to a system. (Adding extra sensors does NOT change the monthly monitoring fee -- the one time cost of the sensors is it). ||Most of the sensors have 5 year batteries that can be replaced. The keypad has 4 AA batteries that should be changed annually. The base station plugs into a normal electric outlet, but has 4 rechargeable AA batteries in case of electric failure. I personally will probably replace these rechargeable AA batteries when I replace the 5 year batteries in the sensors.

Seemless high quality service and products.

The system shipped very fast and installation was very easy. The system seems to be working as expected. The only small issue is tech support has limited hours and I have learned that they only have one central station to handle calls. This is only an issue if there were a catastrophic event that caused the alarm center to be off-line for more than a few minutes. Then there would be no protection. The monitoring fee is reasonable and the smartphone APP and account login works well. This company does not offer a lot of bells and whistles with home integration or a wide variety of security devices, but for a straight forward system it's quite sufficient.

System is easy to use. Great value! The post purchase support hours and wait times when calling customer service could be better but fortunately I haven't had to call them much. We're very happy with the purchase!
