Selection, delivery and installation of the system went very well. I can see that someone with less background knowledge might have a little trouble selecting the proper monitors since Simplisafe's web sits gives very little technical data and is a bit confusing. Installation is very easy since the monitors just stick to the walls. Only problem is that motion detectors are usually pul in ciorners and were sent with sticky tape for a flat wall installation. Extra tape, sent for future repositioning of the monitors, was used up retaping them for corner instalation and I had to peel off the supplied tape and move it to the corners. No big deal. Set up of the system on my computer was easy. This was the lowest cost system for equipment and monitoring I found. And no monitoring contract Test response was good and I was called immediatey while on vacation for a alert that proved to be a false alarm. No other false alarms or problems with the equipment to date .

Ordering a home security kit from SimpliSafe online was incredibly easy. And even though the order form said the kit we wanted was on backorder, it actually came in two days. All the instructions on how to install it are crystal clear (not written in another language and then mangled in translation to English), and the installation is easy-peasy, as is the set-up to activate our notification subscription, which, luckily, we have not had to use.

Ordering and installation is easy. We had some trouble with remote monitoring because company installs t-mobile chips in hardware and there is very poor t-mobile service at our house. Company is sending us a Verizon chip that we will have to replace at no charge. Hopefully it will work then.

I returned the system after the first day with it. Two of the components did not work and the included USB installer would not work on my MacBook. Customer Service staff was very helpful with the return process.

Ordered system after neighborhood break-in. Compared systems and support. This system has you pay up-front for the equipment and requires an low monthly fee of only $14.95. This is much less than the traditional services ($30 to $50 per month). There is no longterm contract. System pays for itself in 18 mo. Easy to install. 24/7 wireless connection to security service.

The SimpliSafe Home Security system is fantastic. It was a breeze to install and has provided us with no issues since installation. The couple of times that the alarm was accidentally initiated by visitors or our dog walker, the folks on the line were extremely friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend this enough!

The system was easy to install. I called for help when one of the sensors was open but they said they couldn't help. The keypad battery died fast and the sensor fell off my sliding glass door. The system basically works well and I have no major complaints

Set up was easy. Everything was wireless and just stuck on where you needed it. Passcodes and subscription were easy to do online. My only knock against them came when applying for an alarm permit. They stuck a form in the box telling me that they didn't have a permit number for my area, which meant either one wasn't required or they haven't had to set one up yet. Well, a permit was required for my area and the form from the police asked for license and permit numbers from the manufacturer and monitoring company. I called Simplisafeto get the info, like the paper they supplied said to do, and no one seemed really sure what was needed...me least of all. So after a few tries and the names of two different monitoring companies give to me, I was told to put things on the application for the monitoring company that certainly didn't sound like permit numbers, and for Simplisafe number, they said "just don't worry about it...put 'n/a' ". I haven't heard back from the police station yet...so not sure if it worked, but the process was certainly not perfect or worth an "A" Otherwise, the only other problem was with our monitoring company, which ignored out initial test signals until I called them and ran a test signal while on the phone with them. Their reply, "Oh, well, we got the signal, we just ignore test signals when we're busy." Understandable...but freakin call back when you're not busy so I'm not thinking my brand new alarm is worthless for a week till I finally call them myself. Anyway...that was not on Simplisafe, just given the story so readers know that when you buy this system, Simplisafe picks out a monitoring company for you.

That service worked out very well. It was a self-install thing. They sent me the component and we installed it. It came very promptly. They did not charge me more than the Big Deal. It was easy to set it up ourselves, and they were available when we needed help.

This system is virtually idiot proof. Its easily installed and set up was a breeze. The response service is reliable and courteous. Affordable equipment and the lowest monitoring cost I've ever seen makes this one heck of a deal. Not requiring a contract is the icing on the cake.

It went very well. You don't have to sign up for a two-year term. You can cancel at any time. It's reasonably priced. They're very responsive when the alarm goes off.

Directions were understandable and installation was easy. We had a problem with the monitoring because of our phone/internet service. The company quickly provided different equipment which resolved the issue. Initially some of the monitoring reports weren't received by the company, again because of our phone/internet service. We emailed the company a couple of times with questions and they were very timely in their responses and very helpful with ideas we could try which we did, resolving again the problems. It's a low-tech security system but it met our needs and we're very satisfied.

I wanted the system shipped to a work address and sent an email asking to change the ship to address and it was handled very quickly. I received tracking notices, updates on services. SimpliSafe system was easy to set up. I have since purchased additional equipment for my home,

This is well thought out and extremely well integrated security system. All of the components are well made and initial set up was easy. It took about 30 minutes to install the master unit, two wall keyboard units, 4 door alarms, and a motion sensor (also a key fob controller. Setup is done on a computer by inserting the key fob into the usb port (yes the key fob is also a flash drive with all of the necessary software installed---but no software is installed on your computer). You set up your PIN number and decide on the type of monitoring (not necessary but a wise thing to do). You can also configure each of the components through this program. After configuring, just plug the key fob into the top of the master unit and all of the configuration parameters are transferred to the unit. Turning on the alarm is as simple as pushing a button on the keyboard unit or on the key fob. There is both a home and away mode. There is also a website where you can change, add, and configure pretty much any part of the system. I also downloaded the Android App, which allows me to control certain aspects of the system (like turning it on and off and looking at an event log). My only complaint is with the motion detector alerts. A safe alert (just to you and not to the monitoring service) is recorded every time the motion sensor is triggered whether the alarm is on or off. There should be an option to only receive safe alerts when the alarm in on. This is a minor point and in no way distracts from the usefulness of this system. In short, I highly recommend this system as an excellent alternative to an expensive alarm service. It is easy to set up and works beautifully.

The system has a cheap feel to it. The wireless broadcast base has a bright, blue light that is constanly on, making it both an energy hog and an annoying light source. Still, it does seem to work pretty well. I wish there had been a way to select my own items (it came as a set, with 2 keypads, 1 motion detector, and a few window/door sensors.)

They delivered the system. The system came very quickly. There were no additional fees and you did not have to buy into their monitoring service. The installation is very easy, but my husband has no done it yet.

The system seems to be working as it is suppose to. Directions and advertizing said you could install it in 30 minutes. Not in my case. Maybe once I have done it now, maybe I could do it again in 30 -45 minutes. I called in once to customer service and the person who I talked to was of little help, even a bit impatient. I have better luck with customer service by sending an email..

Product is as described. Arrived very quickly and was in perfect condition. This system was very easy to install and works perfectly. I would recommend this product.

We ordered an additional key chain remote. I particularly like that I can go to the system and look at the event logs that tell me when it has been on and off. I like this because we can add to it any time. The monthly service price is amazing. I never thought we would be able to afford an alarm system after hearing the outrageous prices my neighbors were paying. When I researched this, I went to Angie's list first and then branched out to look at all the others. Hands down this is the best!!!!!!

It was a self install unit. It was easy enough to do and just way to simple to be convinced that there isn't anymore to do. I had to ask myself "Is this really it, it was too easy" lol. I did my test run and tested all my motion/entry sensors and it worked flawless. Also I got the smartphone app and again it worked like a charm, I can monitor from work and adjust accordingly. Everything was wireless so the install was just as easy as using a tape. The only thing I do wish I got more of was their motion sensors, instead I got 4 extra entry sensors which I'll use for my next house. Overall I was very happy with my purchase and can't beat there $25 a month service without any contract!

All went well, except for the description on Angie's List. It was not clear about what the "expiration" was all about. It took a few phone calls to resolve it. I suggest you look over the "fine print" section of the SimpliSafe page on your site and reword the last item that refers to "expiration".

They offered a wireless self-install security system and I set it up myself. It took me about half an hour for the installation and it's working well. Their coverage and price were ideal. I've been living in my house for 27 years and I've never had an alarm system before. I signed up for a 24/7 monitoring for $15 a month.

They are super easy to work with. We had a problem with the cellular component with ours so they sent out a new monitor at no cost. Other than that we have had no problem. They are awesome. It's self install which I like because i didn't want strangers in my house. Ultimate plan is $29 per month which has a lot of ultimate features and easy to install. It's been perfect. Their customer service was really responsive and super nice when we had the problem with the cellular component. They don't give any high pressure sales tactics to upgrade.
