How did it go? Tell us the story: The initial delivery went very wrong when the delivery company left the package at the front door of the apartment while I was away on a business trip. My delivery instructions were to leave the package with the leasing office and I would pick it up when I return home. The entire time I was out of town, I stayed in touch with the leasing office to confirm the delivery. They never received the package, so I called SimpliSafe and explained the situation, and almost immediately they reshipped the order for delivery to my work address. Once I received the system, all the parts were there and installation was very easy. I just experienced my first false alarm by opening my patio door while the system was armed for “Home”, and just like the monitoring company promised, the calls flooded in immediately. I am very pleased with everything!!!

Items purchased were received in a timely manner. Equipment was easy to install and has been performing well. Interactions with the monitoring service have been positive/professional. Would recommend this company to others (and have).

They were wonderful. I talked to them quite a few times about setting up the system. However we just decided that we didn't want to use the system.

Everything went as expected, all components were installed and work as expected.

The communication and information was superb. The shipping was super fast. The product looks great. I have not had a chance to install the system yet so I can not speak as to the quality of the product. I am however quite confident that I will be satisfied.

If you want a great basic security system for your home Simplisafe can't be beat. You buy your system and then pay them to monitor it with NO CONTRACT. Just to repeat that, NO CONTRACT! Angie's List members get a discount and we bought the Economy Package, which is likely enough for most homes. Additional hardware is a la carte if you want/need more door or window sensors, an extra loud siren, water monitoring, smoke alarm or carbon monoxide sniffer. All are reasonably priced, you own them, and the system is super easy to install. If you want or need video monitoring or prefer a more high-tech device then Simplisafe may not be for you. But this system is no slouch on tech, with built in GSM cell so you don't need a landline and it keeps working even if you lose power. Set up is all via web interface if you want to customize, but it works just fine out of the box. It's one tip of the hat to mobile is a functional app for iOS, Windows Mobile and Android. These guys deserve all of the accolades they have gotten. A great solution for a very good price.

Have already purchase additional components to expand the security system. The renter has subscribed to the security monitoring system.

I chose all the equipment and installed it myself. Installation was a snip. They provided internet video to illustrate and also phone support when required. I needed additional arms because o9f the peculiarity of my windows. I downloaded a certificate proving installation which I presented to my insurance company and obtained a 20% discount on my policy. I checked with my local police department and they confirmed they would respond in case of an alarm. Fire Dept too. I pay $14.99 per month for the monitoring service.

It went very well. It was simple to order and install and you can add what you need without pressure to buy more. They mail it to you, you install yourself, and it took about 45 minutes. There are different levels of monitoring and you can choose what you want, or even if you want monitoring.

It worked out pretty well. There was a hiccup with the installation when the system arrived but they sent out a needed component almost immediately. We’ve been happy with the product; it was as advertised.

Very fast and thorough customer service and easy installation. Monitoring service has yet to be fully tested but no problems are expected.

We were very pleased. They were very quick and easy. It's a good product. It's Working very well. We are thinking of buying additional products from them.

The service went fine. I did not get the monitoring system. They delivered the security system within a week or so. I also purchased a panic alarm and an outdoor alarm. I thought the additional fee for these things was very reasonable. The system was very easy to install myself and the sensors were easy to put up. Some of the heavier things I screwed it. I was able to get the system installed in about an hour.

They system arrived in the mail a couple of days after purchasing it. I installed it myself and there were no troubles.

They sent the system to my old address because my address was not updated on Angie’s List. When I contacted them, there were no troubles. They shipped it to my new address for no additional cost. I have not yet installed the system, but they have been good.

We received our shipment in a timely manner. We were able to add additional components from their website. The system was easy to install.

So far it is good. I just got the service activated. They helped me through the process and I installed that myself. I also purchased some additional components and the price for those were reasonable. I spent about $150 extra. They have been very helpful and I call into their support line. the main reason why I chose them, was because their fee for hooking up to notify the police was cheaper than other competitors. Also the ease of the insulation, you don to have to worry about wires.

We received the system promptly and are very happy with it.

I ordered the alarm system for a home I purchased. However, when I moved into the home, I discovered that there was already an alarm system set up that I could use, so I no longer needed the system I ordered from SimpliSafe. I called and set up a return and they were very helpful and courteous. The return process was fast and easy. When I called to see if they received the return, they advised that they had, but I'd have to contact Angie's List for the refund of my money since the purchase was done through Angie's List Big Deal. I have been trying to get a refund from Angie's List ever since. I contacted Angie's List at the end of June and was told my refund would be processed within 7-10 days. When this did not take place, I emailed Angie's List again yesterday and received a link to this form by email so I could get my refund.

Everything was great. The representatives were great on the phone. I got the system installed in about 30 minutes.

After I received the equipment I installed it. It is very simple. I used this company because they had the least expensive monthly monitoring system and I can cancel at any time and I still have a very loud alarm that will alert neighbors. I own the property but don't live there. I had some stuff stolen before the system. So far so good.

It looks good. We haven't installed it yet as we're still doing some renovations. They shipped the item very quickly and I did speak to customer service about a question with my pets.
