No problems! Very easy to install

Clever wireless system. Easy to install, though had some problems programming it initially using a Mac OS 10 Mavericks. 3 issues with the system: There is frequently a warning that the base station is out of contact with the monitoring company. Have moved it to different locations and it works for a day, and then there is no contact. The web interface and the iOS app add another $15/month to the bill. No thanks. In this day and age, a web interface and smart app add little to no expense and they should be part of the service. No indication or documentation that the system can't be hacked. Not sure the wireless implementation is secure, plus it may be possible to overwhelm the base station with RF. Granted, garden-variety burglars have only an interest in fencing electronics, not understanding them. However, it may not be long until it happens.

Shipped the alarm so quickly I didn't even have time to call the next day and add on additional sensors. Customer service was fantastic and shipped the extra sensors out quickly at no added expense. The system was incredibly easy to install and has worked well!

Best system and monitoring, as well as price, I could find anywhere....and no long term contract! Super easy to install. I bought a fairly comprehensive package of equipment that both matched my configuration needs and provided a great value, then I added on a number of extra components, like extra door/window sensors, motion sensors, smoke alarms, key chain remote. Installation and set up was a snap, they have made it too easy and offer excellent customer service if you do have questions. No need for a land line either, completely cellular system included in the basic monitoring option (competitors charge an extra $15 or more monthly for cellular on top of their basic monthly charges). It's expandable, add sensors or features as needed in the future, and you can take it with you if you move or have multiple properties. After looking for the last year at multiple systems and monitoring packages, and high pressure sales presentations and follow up, all of which had high upfront costs for what I wanted and 3 year contracts starting at $49++ monthly, I was thrilled to find Simplisafe. The equipment is great quality and warrented, and you have 3 levels of monitoring to choose from starting at $14, or no monitoring at all. You can even stop and start monitoring month to month if desired or needed. I chose the most expensive option at $24 monthly that includes text and email alerts as well as full functionality of the system and the ability to manipulate and customize all types of details of individual sensors all on my smart phone, iPad, and laptop from literally anywhere. I can turn it on, turn it off, enable or disable individual sensors, and monitor multiple other things such as house temperature, water leaks, carbon monoxide, fire alarms, etc. all from my phone or tablet. I was able to customize to exactly what I wanted, both in equipment and service, total freedom, and I'm saving a lot of money and have no contracts. Exactly what I was looking for. Saved 10% using my Angie's List discount.

I purchased simplisafe system through Angies list and I received all the material within few days. I also order some extra sensors after my purchase. Everything is working as expected. It is very easy to install and test. I would highly recommend this compare to other products which has higher monthly cost.

Practical solution that you can take with you when moving. Some of the components have a cheap feel and may not work well all the time.

The system was very easy to install--no tools required. They have a three day test period. I was able to get everything I wanted in a system for much less than the quotes from local providers. I'm extremely pleased and would highly recommend this system. You can take it with you when you move and install it someplace else. On-line and booklet instructions were simple and easy to follow. On-phone tech support is also available. Can't imagine a better system. A PLUS!

I've been pleased with them. Just their monthly rate is inexpensive and the service is affordable.

The installation of the product was very easy and simple. The cost of the alarm system was comparable to everyone else but the overall price for the monitoring was better than everyone else. I like the fact no contract is required and it works wireless off the cell phone towers. This way I did not have to have a landline put in and it provides the necessary security I need. SimpliSafe is a wonderful idea! The home I purchased did not have a security system. I wanted a quick and reliable low-cost solution. SimpliSafe is easy to install. It works like other systems that I have had in the past. The best part is the monthly fee is half what I was paying before. It would be great for a rental. When you move, you can take it with you!

The service and system worked out well.

The system is easy enough to install, at least the componentsare easy to mount on the walls, doors and windows. The base is another matter; it is not WIFI, it has to be near the Modem/Router in order to connect with cable, The base does not offer flexibility for placing it in a hidden place. The system is promoted as a complete ALARM system but does not include a siren to ALARM the user when there is a break-in. I feel like a fool. The Angie's list "BIG DEAL" lists the items that were included and it does not list the SIREN, so I received what they promised... but it is far from being an ALARM SYSTEM that is complete since there is no sound to scare the burglar away or wake up the home owner. I am disapointed at Angie's List that promotes and misrepresent this product, BUYER BE CAUTIOUS of what you get from this site. I purchased the system due to my travelling on Vacation, leaving 8/12/2014 at 6:30 A.M. and did not want to worry while away. This system is a big dissapointment. Fortunately I have great neighbours (who will not know that my home has been broken into since there is no siren). I'll write off the $259 under Stupid TAX and get a real system for the home.

Easy to install. Comes with easy to understand information in a flash drive, it went smoothly. Currently in test mode. So far so good.

System works as advertised. Installation is definitely a DIY job, but not difficult. Costs more upfront than the free install offers from companies like ADT, but pays for itself quickly due to much lower monthly cost. Also, you can take it with you when you move. Minor concerns include the fact that the system is run from a base station that could theoretically be smashed by an intruder before it was able to call the dispatcher. Also, it is occasionally unable to connect to the dispatch center, though this doesn't happen often and it gives you an obvious error message when it does. All around a better choice than more expensive lower-tech options like ADT.

This alarm system is very easy to install and seems like a very good system. I haven't started the monitoring service yet because I am waiting for my permit to arrive from the City. I am having some trouble with a report from the alarm system of an entry sensor not responding properly but I have no idea which sensor that is. As soon as I am able to turn on the Simply safe monitoring I will be able to get a printout of all sensors in my system and then be able to determine which sensor is faulty.

It went pretty well. The quality of the system was good.

I received the product in the mail within about a week. I installed the system myself and there were no troubles. Everything turned out fine.

Installation was Easier than 1st. System. There is a learning curve.. No Hardware Problem.... No "software" problems. There was no need for Telephone Assistance from the Vendor. I would / do recommend this Simplisafe system to all friends who ask.

The system is installed and is working great. We have two control panels and windows and door sensors. We opted in to their monthly monitoring system. We get a call right away anytime the system is triggered.

I bought a big deal package for SimpliSafe because they received great reviews and are a good value. I had to call the vendor to complete the purchase and add additional sensors, which I could not do online because I had bought a big deal. The vendor's call center was very helpful and friendly and the purchase was completed quickly. The system shipped quickly and was easy to install and activate. SimpliSafe offers a good value without the high priced monthly monitoring costs of other alarm companies.

We did not have trouble installing the security system. The only inconvenience is that we received a sensor that is not working and we requested to return it. The customer service specialist said three weeks ago that they would send us a pre-paid envelope for the return but until today we still have not receive it yet. Update: We asked again from the service number and they sent a replacement sensor and we recived it a week later (early Sept.). It works as expected.

Self-Installation was easy. One sensor adhesive strip failed (likely my issue with surface prep). Extra strip sent with delivery held properly. Vendor offered to send & sent additional strips. I called several times with questions about alarm operation. Had professional and friendly support. Great customer service overall.
