I bought a starter kit for SimpliSafe using a great discount promo from Angie's list. Bought directly through Angie's list and had it delivered. This is a self install alarm system. I needed another $150 in additional sensors to have a complete system. The deal direct from Angie's List was 20% lower than any other discount I could find online for SimpliSafe. The system is easy to install and the monitoring service has no annual contact obligations. The monthly fee for monitoring is very reasonable considering all the features that it has. My favorite feature of their monitoring package I bought so that I can use my iPhone to monitor and set my alarm. It's a very powerful and flexible system that I highly recommend. It's allows for complete customization, so I can turn on or off various zones depending on my needs very easily. I can name different sensors so I know exactly where the problem may be, I also bought freeze and water sensors so my home is protected and safe even when I'm not there 24/7.

It went well and is easy if you are mildly handy wtih a screwdriver. Essentially - you get the kit and mount the various components on key windows and doors. There are options to add more equipment as your situation and needs demand. The system gives you a step by step instruction - even instructs you to check for alarm ordinnaces in your township. The sytem recognizes the devices, was easy to program and set up, nothing to it really. Most people should finish the installation in less than 90 minutes and be up and running in test mode. I'm glad i went with this provider - we even had one false alarm by accidentally setting the alarm off ourselves. Dispatch and Police response were both prompt - It gives me good confidence should there be a real emergency that the system will work as designed - no corners appear to have been cut in the quality of the product here.

Service works perfectly. Really amazing that others are paying 3 times as much and locking into contracts with hidden fees. These guys know exactly what the customer wants. There salespeople are not working for commission. They are awesome!

No issues to report. System works as advertised. Worked well for me since it's wireless and I have no easy way to install a wired alarm system. Monthly monitoring fees are also reasonable compared to competition.

Equipment arrived as promised and the installation instructions were quite clear and doable. I have installed these systems now in two different houses and installation in each went well. Only note here is that if you are installing in an older home with lath and plaster walls, the sticky tapes tend not to work so well. We had to use screws to attach equipment to the walls. Sticky tapes work well in a more standard house with sheetrock walls. All equipment comes in preprogrammed and ready to go. After we activated the systems Simplisafe called me to make sure that everything was fine and to see if I had any questions. LOVE that there are no contracts and that the monitoring charges are quite reasonable. Like the first system so much that we put a second system in a house that we are remodeling.

It went very smoothly; arrived quickly and installation was easy. Support was available if needed. Very pleased (10/10) and I am no longer overpaying with the larger companies.

The set up was very simple and fast. After considering and rejecting ADT's scare tactics and way high cost, we went with SimpliSafe. They offer the same components as ADT but at a fraction of the cost and the company is local to us. The monthly monitoring fee is much less expensive too. The system is just installed but seems to be working well. I love the fact that there is no telephone hook up because it all works on its own internal cellular connection. The base station started talking to me the second I plugged it in. It connects withe every component the second you take out the battery cover. If I have one issue it would be the adhesive tape on the components. The keypad kept falling off the wall and the door sensors were a little tough to get to stick to a stucco door edge. We had some small double side pads for hanging pictures and that seemed to do the trick. So far. Also the "the home is protected by" sign is a stick on when I was hoping for a post mounted one for the outside but that's nitpicking, I know. The company's website is pretty cool too. It has a log of all the tests, shut offs, etc. that we do. We got the cheaper system and just added a couple glass break sensors.

So far so good, we really had to buy some more things. Every thing is pretty much on line, great price and it is easy to use. I t took three days from the time we ordered it.

Delivery was quick and easy and the product works great. It was slightly confusing on how to set up connection with the local police dispatch, but was able to call for assistance in obtaining the local permit.

Arrived on time. Easy to set up. Does what it is supposed to do. Very helpful to check home temp remotely this winter.

We wrote to Simplesafe directly for reimbursement information and were directed to correspond directly with Angie's List. I could not be more disappointed in this transaction or the service and components that we received and we are requesting the ability to return all purchased components and seek full reimbursement for the cost ($250). We have been loyal Angie's Lists customers for years and hope that this will amicably resolve itself, but the overall failure of this equipment is unreasonable and unsafe for our growing family and we cannot continue to be inconvenienced by the lack of customer service provided by the company or the failure of the components to adequately secure our home, especially with a child on the way.

I haven't had any problems with them or the service. The monthly fee is only if you want them to monitor it.

It went well. The installation was easy. Everything is working well.

It's basically I didn't have a whole lot of interaction because it was all done online and I did have one issue that I didn't understand and I called the company and they were able to resolve that issue that I had. The equipment was fine. There was just a step that I was missing in the set up that I didn't understand, but they taught me through it and I was able to get it done. As far as the responsiveness was I guess them mailing me the unit. It arrived very very quick within the week or within the time that they had indicated. The quality is fine. It's solid. So far it's holding up. It was not a whole lot of movement other than doors when you open doors. Everything is holding up quite well. They were professional and they were able to help me out.

Ok. The monitorying service is okay. Sometime they could be more friendly.

1. They do not work with existing wired for sensor homes. 2. The packages have default items that cannot be tailored to your needs. You cannot remove items from package to add items for your particular needs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. They sent it by mail and it was easy to set up.

The package shipped quickly and had very clear directions for installing. The company was easy to contact and very helpful with verifying the system was working. Best of all, my home owners insurance is discounted because of the alarm! It will pay for it's self in 2 years!

Everything has turned out well. The product is great, it arrived on time, and the staff has been friendly and helpful.

They sent the package and I set it up myself. It was very easy! It had all the components. $259 was just the set up fee, but that didn't include the monthly service fees.

The equipment arrived a bit slow but overall the service works pretty well. Considering it has an iPhone app, text, and email updates and the ability to set and disarm remotely. I am very satisfied with the price overall. It was easy to install and setup, although I had to call the 800 number because there was something wrong with the base unit sent out. Happy with the product and still using the service.

I purchased the product and then installed them myself. I chose to not sign up for their monthly service.

The product arrived promptly and was easy to install. In hindsight, i probably could have used one more motion detector and a glass break detector for my setup, but it should be easy to add later. I did add 2 CO detectors and 2 smoke alarms to the system subsequent, which is nice to be able to do, but cost over $100 for the four items. The monitoring service has been responsive on all my tests and even one mishap when my parents accidentally set off the door alarm. So far, I think the system is great, though it is one of those things you hope never to have to really test.
