Installation is super easy.

No real problem, although I needed a different mother-board for Verizon as my area did not respond to the master-unit, bought extra components. Would definitely recommend this unit to friends.

As a woman, I found it very easy to install and everything is working fine except for a smoke alarm. I still need to call them regarding that item. After it was up about 2 weeks it started beeping like the battery was going bad. I put in another battery and it did the same thing after about 2 weeks. With the holidays upon us I haven't had a change to call and talk about this issue. I haven't started the monitoring yet but think it is very reasonable and plan to start that at the first of the year.

We purchased the system only, no contract. The system arrived on time and is working well. We have had no issues.

We have been using the system for about 8 months now and have been very happy with the service. The only issues we have faced involved the process for getting the system registered in our county (we had to contact Simplisafe to send us a form to get a permit for the alarm system which we feel should have just been sent with the system... this delayed activation of our service by a few weeks). The other thing to note is that the built-in alarm siren isnt very loud unless you purchase the separate siren. However, given the ease of installation and the price for the equipment and servicing, the product is great.

I recently moved into a new house and was immediately bombarded by home security companies. I did my research including Angie's list and found SimpliSafe that offered essentially the same equipment and monthly service that others were offering - but at a much reduced rate. Also - I didn't have to sign a 24 or 36 month contract. The responsiveness of the system has been very good to date. Every time I turn my system on or off, I get an email or text message notification. This gives me peace of mind that the system is working as advertised. The items were shipped quickly and was easy to set up.

They provided all the equipment they said they would. It was very easy to install. Very clear instructions. Batteries and everything else I needed were included. Highly recommend this company.

Great service with monitoring. Have amazing response time for alarms.....all though all so far have been false alarms! ( They are prompt about cancelling the alarm too......after talking to you.)

This is my second simpisafe unit. I have had very good luck with both and would recommend them. All of the sensors are peel and stick for easy installation. I found that the ones outside in the garage had to be screwed on because the humidity in South Carolina caused them to fall off over time. Setup was very easy - within 1 hour I was ready to go. I use their $24.95 monitoring package so that I can check status on my iPhone. One of the properties is far away, so I use this to check status and temperature. It sends me a text when alarm is on/off or there is any change in status. Finally, monitoring has been good. Although I have not had a break in, I have occasionally set off the alarm in a stupid way. They call me before calling the police so that I can confess to my transgression before the police are notified. Every once in a while, the main unit loses track of one of the sensors. It eventually comes back, but I don't know why this occurs. It doesn't cause an alarm and it does notify me by text. I would recommend this to anybody that wants a better deal than ADP and the others.

Had some faulty equipment and keypad-placement issues but it all worked out eventually. Personal is great but if you want "technical" help you're on hold for a while. The '"Sales" people can usually help with the technical issues. Great system, easy to set up and use.

Very pleased so far with this system. Very easy to use. When one component didn't work correctly they immediately replaced, no charge. I had one false alarm caused when the smoke alarm got too much dust and dirt in it. I've also noticed that sometimes in the morning one of our motion sensors can get triggered by the change in temp in our sunroom when the sun starts streaming in there. This was when the weather was super hot and humid for a time. Hasn't been a problem otherwise. I researched a lot of other companies and this one was the best deal by far. Their response time when the alarm was triggered was immediate. Note: I purchased a lot of sensors so my initial cost was high, $590. But my monthly monitoring is only $15/month. Much cheaper than anyone else. THAT is where the costs add up. Contact me if you want ideas for how to set up to work with jalousie windows.

The equipment arrived quickly and I installed it myself.

The system is simple to use and the service is quite responsive. It took about 30 min to install and place the sensors. The iPhone app makes it easy to disarm or arm the system on the way to or from home. Highly recommended!

Instillation was easy. I just wish the system was reliable. The instructions you receive are for primarily for instillation, not operating. For example: you need to find the number for the monitoring company and load it into your phone BEFORE you need it which is not in the instructions. If you need customer service, expect to be on the phone a minimum of 15 minutes before talking to someone. When I received the system the yard sign was missing, they sent me the yard sign without the stake, which they don?t provide, but I didn?t find that out until I had spent another 15 minutes on hold. I had had the system about one week when I was sitting in my living room and heard the system switching from ?home mode? to ?away mode? meaning that I would not be able to move around my house without the alarm sounding and the police being called. I shut the system down and called customer service, after waiting over 15 minutes, I finally got to talk to someone. He told me I had pushed something wrong, I assured him I had not, he said I must have been walking around with the key fob remote in my pocket. I informed him that the key fob was across the room on the table and I had not touched it. He checked the system and could not come up with an answer so I was disconnected. I called back, waited again to speak to someone. She informed me that it was policy to call the customer back if they get disconnected. Since I was never called back I determined that it was intentional. She thought the problem with the alarm was due to the glass breaking sensor (I had two) and that I should test time. I didn?t want to test them on the live system so I disconnected them and since I have had no further problems, I determined that the glass sensors caused the problem. I have stopped using the key fob as it is a very poor design, it has the flash drive in it but once you take the cover off it does not want to stay on so if it is on your key ring it will cut into your leg while you drive. I have also experienced setting the alarm with the key fob and not getting a confirmation that it armed and then later upon arriving home discovered that it had armed. Last week after two months of the service, I could not get one of my door key pads to accept the code to turn off so after four attempts I used the other one. Last night the same key pad would not arm the system saying an entry was open but did not list the code for which entry, I checked all doors, the large window, and all were locked and the sensors aligned. I used the other key pad and armed the system in the home mode, I got a confirmation text, and I logged onto my account. On-line showed the system was armed with no problems - no mention of a problem with an entry. At 3 a.m. the bad key pad still stated that the entry was open and the system was off, at 7:30 am it still said the system was off but didn?t mention an open entry while the other key pad said the system was armed. Now I am changing my routine to not use the door by where my car is parked because I don?t trust the key pad. It has been two months and one week and I am shocked by what is NOT WORKING. Now I need to set aside time to try to get through to customer service about the malfunctioning key pad.

The system work very well. It doesn't have any problem for now.

Included everything I needed to install the system myself. Paid for the upgraded monitoring service so I can control it from my smartphone. Simple interface for arming and disarming, as well as viewing events. Online interface is easy to use for configuring your system and setting parameters for your monitoring service.

Never used product but they were very responsive and professional on steps to return product and obtain refund.

The system purchased was easy to install as the company stated and it was true to its name Simply, Safe. This is a great alarm system.

The system functions exactly as advertised. It's really great that this company is revolutionizing the home security industry. No paying $50 a month for this guy. Set up was a breeze and the system is very simple to use (as the name implies). Thanks!

I like that we can put together our own alarm system, and it was easy to install, and it works out great without having to spend a lot of money. Everything is easy, they are helpful, and responsive.
