Ordering was easy and it shipped right away. The self-installation was simple and pain-less. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that can turn on a computer.

I ordered a self install security system using a discount code from Angie's List. By telephone, their customer service representative helped us choose what additional items we would need for fully securing our new home. The additional costs for extra equipment were reasonable with no hidden fees. They were polite, professional and not pushing anything we didn't need. The equipment arrived within a few days. It is easy to install.

System works great. Ordered on Big Deals offered on Angies List. Arrived in three-five days. Took time to install because I wanted to position sensors in the best possible places. After initial installation, I decided to order sensors for all entry points of the house, adding an additional cost of $250 to the initial $500.The sensors themselves are bulky and use some upgrading aesthetically, but they work well. Setting up the online portion of it was painless and fast. I decided to go for the full dispatcher and SMS alerts interactive support. I've already had a power outage, and was alerted immediately as well as a water sensor going off. Messages and phone calls were made immediately to the information I provided. My only pet peeves are upgrading the sensors to be smaller, sleeker and the yard sign should come with a metal stick to place in the yard. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

The only issue I have the keypad sometimes malfunction other then that every thing is perfect.

The service for the big deal from the company called SimpliSafe Home Security was just fine. They sent that right away and it worked right away. I have no issues with that. There were no additional charges other than the 199 dollars of the big deal charge. I pay a monthly service fee. I didn't purchase anything at all other than that security monitoring service and the big deal that I purchased through Angie's List. It is an alarm system and I just got it. I ordered it and it was inexpensive. It came out quickly and it was easy to install. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Everything installed and set up just as their instructional video showed and my system was operating in just an hour or so. Absolutely no problems with the installation and system test. I'm going to try this for a month or so before linking to the police and fire departments. I want to get used to remembering the system is in place before I take that last step.

The alarm system was pretty easy to install. I did need to contact customer support and they clarified a couple things to help me get it installed. Overall, pretty simple. I ordered several additional sensors after installing the original package and those parts installed and functioned just the same as if I had done it all at once. The only negative part I've noticed is that because the door sensors function by magnets, they sometimes don't register as having been closed and when I set the alarm system on, it gives me a warning that a door is still open. This happens maybe 1 out of 20 times, and it only takes a few seconds to open and shut the offending door then rearm the system. Considering the initial price, monthly monitoring price, and ease of use vs. the couple of small issues I've had, I would probably buy this system if I were choosing an alarm system again.

I installed the product. It appears to work well. I am disappointed in the quality of the door and window sensors. The mounting hardware is crap. They need to rething the contact closure assembly. It is not a very attractive or stealth unit.

We bought a refurbished system. It literally took an hour to install the 12 of the sensors. I noticed that we didn't get the window sticker and called the company. They were more than willing to send out a new one. I asked if I could swap it for a yard sign and they obliged and gave me free shipping as well on my order. I am impressed with their customer service. Futhermore, coming from someone that paid $1800 for a much smaller security system a few years ago and the monthly fee of $40 SimpliSafe is a steal. I love the alerts I get when my house is armed and disarmed! I love the fire monitoring and that I HAVE the control of my system. Its portable so you aren't wasting money if you move, sell your house, or happen to be a renter. I don't have to call the company and ask them to disarm a sensor. My family has peace of mind, and we are saving money as well.

Alarm system was easy to install. One door sensor wasn't working quite right initially, and the provider helped me troubleshoot the issue. Overall, I'm very happy with the system and the responsiveness of the provider.

The price was great. The equipment works well. The set up went fine; it was easy to install. If I ever move, I would probably take it with me to my new home.

All went well, except I didn't get the call as advertised. I had intentions of adding to the order, but have since contacted the company to order more components. The shipment arrived in less than a week.

I talked to them and they told me I would have to pay the monthly fee. I was unaware of the monthly fee. The deal was not what I thought it was.

It went well. I installed it and it's working. So, it was good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I received it promptly. I think I might have bought it on a Friday. On Monday they contacted me and shipped it out. I received it three days later. The staff interaction was good. The service is inexpensive and it works.

Simply safe easy to setup and activate. Other home security services wanted between 50 & 100/month for the service, plus the installation fees. Works great. This was the special deal available to Angie's List members. Since then I have added several other intrusion devices from Simply Safe. It's easy to update the system. I like it and we use it all the time. You do have to register it with the local law enforcement folks. I've turned it on a couple of times to test it and ensure that Simply Safe will call in the event of an intrusion. They have been very responsive. I like the system. More importantly, when we depart Amarillo this coming year, I can take it with me to our new location and start again. No need to buy another system.

It went very well. It arrived within 4-5 days. It’s partially installed, and the quality seems very good. I’ve also spoke to them on the phone and they are very professional.

excellent deal, very easy to set up, way better than a traditional system

This is a great system, and a terrific value! I am completely un-handy, so was a little concerned about the self-install. It was amazingly easy to set up and test, even for me. Unlike expensive name brand companies, you buy the SimpliSafe system outright for a very reasonable price. Then you pay for their central station monitoring service, which starts at just $15 a month--well below the $30+ the big guys charge. Best of all, there is no contract. The big security companies typically lock you in to a 3-year contract with huge early termination fees that can be over $1,000. I've used the system for over a year now. Through my own negligence I've triggered both the burglar and fire alarms in that time. The SimpliSafe monitoring station is instantly in contact. Their people are very professional. The only downside--SimpliSafe doesn't offer some of the more advanced bells and whistles, such as ability for the central station to listen for sounds in your house after an alarm is triggered. You also can't tie in cameras to their system as you can with some. But if you want a basic and effective monitored burglary and fire alarm system for a value price, this is hard to beat.

If you don't pay for a monitoring contract with them, it will only sound the alarm in your house. I was hoping I could just put my phone number in and it would notify me when the system went off, but SimpliSafe said in order to have it do that I'd have to pay for the monitoring. Overall, though, the system was easy to install ... but I've sent it back in hopes of finding something that will fit my needs better.

I love the ease of installation and the great low monthly price. Their customer service is excellent.

Everything went perfect; very pleased with the product. I installed this my self which was very easy. I had no issues. I like the option to have a no contract monitoring as well as the affordability.

All of the celebrities on talk radio talk about them. It is a wireless thing that you install yourself and it is amazing. They text me when someone opens the door. It is a good thing and it is national. I can go online and check everything out. I think the best part of it is the do it yourself. I think it makes me have security for a fair price and pay as I go since I don’t have to buy it all at once.
