This is a self installed security system that was very easy to install. Instructions are clearly written and there are no wires to worry about. It's a wireless system. My alarm has been triggered since installing it and I can assure you it works and works promptly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. They do the same thing as the popular companies except they are cheaper and without a contractual agreement. Oh and did I mention, if you happen to move you can take the system with you.

They never got a call that the house was broken into. The police did check it out but never found anything. We later found out that a glass shelf had fallen down inside the house causing the glass break monitor to go off. We were glad that the monitor did work. The system was easy to install ourselves, the monitoring service is very inexpensive monthly, and we have had excellent service when the alarm has gone off and we haven't been there.

System was easy to install. Works better than much more expensive security systems I have had in the past. The monitoring is professional and on the one time it tripped, the right people were notified within a few minutes. I had a problem with one of the sensors after a month. They sent me a new one and I mailed them the old one at no cost. Can't beat that.

I love this system. The clear, understandable instructions made it easy to install, even for a technically/mechanically challenged person like me. Best yet, there was no waiting around at home for a salesperson or installer to miss any appointments. I've had other systems and this one works just as well for less hassle and money.

The company is easy to deal with and helpful. I am in my sixties, and installed the system in my two story house in one day. Videos provided online were helpful. I have definitely recommended Simpli Safe to others.

SimpliSafe was easy to set up, and so far has worked as advertised, and monitoring staff have called promptly (with one exception) when testing. 1 disruption when cell link cut out, and need to manually power down and reboot to restore connection to monitoring center, but since then no issues.

Not very well. Purchased as Angie's List Big Deal on February 22. Instructions on Angie's List site incorrect. After I picked dates for the following week and stayed home expecting a phone call from the company it did not happen that way. Received the system over a week later by Fedex. Installation was simple enough, but didn't work. Kept getting message of power outage and constant blue light flickering whether it was plugged in or not. Went through lengthy problem solving and taking components apart with tech on the phone. Was able to manually sync with their server but was decided that pluggin for base station was faulty. Had to go to post office mail it back and get replacement. Didn't work. Decided base station was faulty. Had to mail it back and get replacement.Replacement seemed to work but then couldn't get it to sync. Decided that wrong component in base station for proper communication for my area. Had to get a new component board for the base station. Had to go out and buy a jewelers screw driver to replace the part. Would not work, but I figured out that they had not programmed the new component board for the parts of my system as I was told they would do on the phone and in writing. Was able to do this with tech on phone. Then could not get the key pad to work properly with the base station. Was told the new problem was most likely "interference". Was told to find a wall in my house without any wiring, appliances or thermostats nearby. As there was no such place in my house it was determined that this was not the system for my house. I was told to ship everything back and when received I would get a refund. Simplisafe did refund the monitoring fee I had paid very promptly. When I did not receive the credit to my account for the system, after waiting sufficient time for them to receive all the parts back, I emailed them again and was told that the refund needed to come from Angie's List and that they would notify them again. I waited an additional 2-3 weeks waiting for the refund and when not received I began emailing Angie's List. When I got no reply after 3 e-mails I called the 888 phone number. We figured out that the emails from customer service went to junk mail. Strange that all the other emails from Angie's list show up fine in my email. But my main complaint was that I was told I wasn't due a refund because it was after 30 day! I was however made the offer of buying something else. I'm sorry, I don't think I should have to just buy "something" to replace getting a refund. Had the refund come as it should have it would have been within the 30 day period. When I stated such I was told I would need to talk to The Big Deal staff. As they were not available. They had to fill out a form. In order to fill out the form I was asked what reviews I had done recently! I didn't feel this was pertinent to getting customer service and said so. I also was told that because of my level of membership I was supposed to do all of my service on line and not call for help! I am still waiting to hear from the Big Deal staff. .

Everything works just as advertised. Easy to install, can cover the whole house including motion and freeze sensors. The monitoring is cheaper than others and requires no long term contract. I highly recommend this system.

I love SimpliSafe. They are very reasonably priced. We pay $15 per month for our specific plan. The technology is very simple, easy to set up, and easy to use.

Very fast and easy to install, Extremely convenient, Customer service was fantastic.

It all went well. I really like the system; especially being able to activate and de-activate from my Smartphone. I did opt for monitoring and once when I messed up and activated the alarm, they called right away to make sure there wasn't an issue. I'm not so fond of the blue light cone but have found a workable and somewhat hidden place for it.

I am currently using them and I am very pleased with them. My experience with them has been excellent. I have recommended them several times.

Simple instruction, easy to install

Everything was fine. You should be able to add extra to your purchased when you make it through Angie's List.

Ordering the system through Angie's List was easy and saved a lot of money. The system arrived quickly and was easy to install. I later ordered an addition motion detector direct from Simplisafe; this order was processed quickly and easily. The whole system works quite well.

We are very happy with them. They are completely fine. The price is good. They are great with appointments.

Purchased this system about a year ago, and have been using it ever since. Excellent response and troubleshooting, when needed. This is much more cost-effective than many of the installed systems. I am thinking about buying another system for my daughter as she moves into her first apartment. It's portable enough that she can take it with her as time goes on.

Great deal for quality security monitoring

They responded well and the quality of the product may not match with others. But I am ok with that.

The $500 cost was for the equipment and service. My experience with them has been wonderful. It is half the price of any other company and it is easy to install. It is a do-it-yourself thing. You do not have to have someone you do not know come in and install the stuff and goes through your whole house. It is easy as peeling stick. It is mobile. When I move, I can take it with me. It is a great system and half the cost of any other company out there. I will continue using them and I would recommend them to everybody.

It went very well and did have used them before. It was fine and I had a couple of problems but two phone calls to them and I had no more problems. The system is east to install.

We liked the service for the big deal from SimpliSafe Home Security. It was an 'A'. It was not more than the 199 dollars for the big deal. Everything was timely. The installation was pretty simple, we were having trouble with one part of it, one sensor but we just haven't got in touch with the company. My husband called and he couldn't immediately get someone and they had to call us back.

That worked out excellent actually. We have a rental. Self installed system. Add another sixty for another keypad and motion detector.

This was a DIY system... but installation was easy and took less than 30mins.
