Description of Work: The alarm system was delivered in a timely manner and was very easy to set up. I have not used the company's monitoring system yet so I cannot comment on that aspect. Thus far I would give the company an "A" rating.

Price is reasonable. | |The monitoring is reasonably priced and you have 3 choices to choose from. "Standard" monitoring plan is $14.99 per month, the "Alert" at $19.99, and "Interactive" at $24.99. As of July 2014 you have 2 monitoring companies to choose from. | |I've contacted SimpliSafe usually by email and they responded within 24 hours. And if you call them you get a real person and they are happy to help. They have been very helpful when I had questions.

Description of Work: The Angie's List offer was for a Simplisafe Home Security and Monitoring System for $199.00. Since I had already been considering purchasing this system I knew what a great deal it was and purchased it immediately. Other than shipping the package to me there were no services performed since it is a self-installed system. They do have a great support system to answer questions and guide you through the installation if you need help which I didn't. It is really easy to install and set-up.

Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal and additional components directly through SimpliSafe website. Delivery of product took over a week. E-mail inquiries were answered promptly and if they did not know the answer, got back to me within reasonable time. I have not signed up for the monitoring service yet so I cannot commnent on issues seen on other reviews about service issues with SimpliSafe. No 3 year contract requirement like other alarm service companies so a big plus. Overall experience to date has been positive.

Description of Work: They delivered the equipment in a very timely manner and contacted me multiple times to ensure all my questions were answered. The only issue I have is that there 24/7 monitoring coverage "may" require two (2) local permits, one with the police department and one with the fire department. A possible additional costs which most won't find out about until you receive the equipment. It may be on their website, if so it isn't very obvious and I was on their site multiple times. Regardless of that, I still think it was a good purchase and I plan on purchasing additional equipment and the 24/7 monitoring.
