Description of Work: SimpliSafe is exactly what they claim to be - an economical source for a quality security system. I do recommend going on-line and, after looking at some of the tutorial info, configure your own system. You may need more than the basic system. My system, as I installed it ($585), included 4 doors, 8 windows, 2 smoke, 3 motion, 2 glass-break, 2 sirens, keypad and base unit. There were no surprise charges and my order arrived sooner than expected.It was incredibly easy to install and set up. While the system was reasonably priced, it is more than paid for by the cost of monitoring ($15/mo with no commitment compared to the competition's $35/mo for 3yrs).The system has already thwarted 1 break-in attempt at my home. I'm well pleased and I am actively telling everyone about this product. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: The system was easy to set up. It is easy to use and has reliably emailed me when I left and returned. I like the ability to use the IPhone to monitor the system when away, and the general emails from Simplisafe about using my system. I like the month-to-month & no-contract features of the plan and that I own my system out front. I would rate the system higher except that I am still a new user and want to see how the system does over a longer period.

Description of Work: Purchased the self install alarm kit. Very easy installation. Very good directions in writing and on the web site. I had an issue with the base station (it uses T-Mobile and I don't get a signal). I called and they handled it quickly and sent out a Verizon chip (which worked). While waiting for the chip (sent next day air), they instructed my on how to tie into my house phone so were still actively monitored.

I have one keypad upstairs, that sometimes loses contact with the base station, but other than that, this system is fantastic. I opted for the $25 month service - which includes the app. Works like a charm - and couldn't be more pleased with this security system. Easy to install and fast shipping. You're a fool if you use any other security system.
