Description of Work: We ordered a security system from SimpiSafe. It arrived quickly and was very easy to install. The equipment is basic but functional. Customer service was very responsive. We have had no problems and would highly recommend SimpliSafe.

Description of Work: I am selling my home and was about to put in an alarm system from the above vendor when I was advised the buyer preferred their own. I returned the system,unopened,about a week later and was advised by SimpliSafe that they would be issuing a credit. After several weeks of no credit being refunded on my card I contacted them again and was told they had indeed issued a credit thru you all. That's when I ran into problems with your customer service dept on the 30 day refund issue. Please credit the $259 back to my credit card or issue a check- your option. I suggest you all clarify refund protocol with buyers on your order forms. I would have never guessed I would have to make a second refund to your organization on the returned merchandise.I appreciate your accommodation however.

They promptly e-mailed me a shipping label and promised me they would contact Angie's List asap so I would get my refund. To be honest I'm not unhappy with the fact I haven't received my refund through Angie's List yet nor did I receive any correspondence from them regarding this matter.

The system was delvered quickly and has been installed for 3 weeks. I've had no problems with any of the items and the $ savings compared to a system installed by another company were significant.

Description of Work: SimpliSafe is exactly what they claim to be - an economical source for a quality security system. I do recommend going on-line and, after looking at some of the tutorial info, configure your own system. You may need more than the basic system. My system, as I installed it ($585), included 4 doors, 8 windows, 2 smoke, 3 motion, 2 glass-break, 2 sirens, keypad and base unit. There were no surprise charges and my order arrived sooner than expected.It was incredibly easy to install and set up. While the system was reasonably priced, it is more than paid for by the cost of monitoring ($15/mo with no commitment compared to the competition's $35/mo for 3yrs).The system has already thwarted 1 break-in attempt at my home. I'm well pleased and I am actively telling everyone about this product. Highly recommend!
