Description of Work: We were sent the sensors to put up and instructions to activate. So far so good. My husband was testing the system while I was away from the home and I was immediately called by Simplisafe to report the alarm had been activated. Seems to be working.

Description of Work: Simplisafe offers a reliable, affordable, flexible home security option. I chose them because I do not want to be locked into a lengthy contract. Having a Simplisafe system means that I can start and stop the service whenever I wish, using it only a few months of the year, and can cancel completely whenever I wish. The upfront cost is under $500 and monthly fee is just about $19.00. Works perfectly for me.

Description of Work: It was self install, but super easy to set up. Monitoring and an app on the phone can be added for a small upcharge and allows you to turn on/off alarm. Very convenient.

Description of Work: I ordered security system online years ago. Monthly rate cheaper and you can customize your system. Like that system is portable and you can add to. Friendly, attentive customer service. Only Wish they would offer video service and make keychains more durable.

At first there was some confusion regarding what components were included, and not all the components I had ordered were sent. The people at Angie's list got it cleared up and the additional components were sent. When installing the system, I a question and called SimpliSafe. The representative was very helpful and patient with me as I performed the steps required to do the connection. The set-up was quite easy and the instructions in the manual were clear. The website has additional information that it might have been nice to include in the manual. |A couple of months later I ordered some additional components, and they arrived quickly. I rated punctuality lower because it took an extra week for the rest of the initial order to arrive after the mix-up. The quality seems good. It is too soon to know about the long-term reliability.

Customer service was very helpful with troubleshooting an installation question. Monthly monitoring prices are much more affordable than some of the "big name" security companies and the best part is that there are no contracts! Our system gives us peace of mind when we are away and also makes us feel more secure when we are home. We also love the fact that we can easily add to the system at an affordable price and take it with us if we move. We sincerely recommend this service to others due to its affordability and ease of use.

Description of Work: Everything as advertised. A little expensive up front for the equipment, but worth it. No false alarms yet after I did the self-install of the various motion sensors and other equipment, but sensor placement is pretty critical.
