Description of Work: Ordered security system online for a self install. Customer service very professional. Equipment arrived promptly and was a breeze to install. Great directions and quality equipment. Monitoring is at a great price, starting at $14.99 per month. No contract required.

Description of Work: Simply Safe was shipped to me for me to install myself. My only real issues where the delay in shipment, and the one size fits all installation that is not very simply for those of us with decorative molding around windows and doors. I also ran into some hesitation with my local Emergency personnel, not wanting to recognize the company initially. | |So overall, not quite as plug and play as I was hoping, but still much cheaper than the alternative.

Description of Work: Supplied do it yourself install alarm system with optional monitoring at a very good competitive price. The Angie's list deal had just the sensors I wanted as well. Easy to install and set up. Very supportive customer support too. Very happy and saved an immense amount over other commercial alarm companies that want a minimum of 3 year monitoring contracts.

Description of Work: THE ITEMS TOOK A BIT GETTING USED TO TO SELF-INSTALL. ALSO HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR REGISTRATION. OTHER THAN THAT NO REAL ISSUES. WILL SAVE MONEY ON THE MONITORING SERVICES WHICH WILL PAY FOR THE SYSTEM WHEN COMPARED TO ADT.

Description of Work: The only reason I'm giving it a B overall is because in the month I've had the system there has been three times where I've lost connection to the dispatch center. I hoping this isn't a trend and will get better.

Description of Work: Helped me put together a home alarm system. I received 8 window sensors, 8 door sensors, 2 glass break sensors, 1 motion sensor, 1 panic button, 1 key chain fob, 1 key pad for the entry way, and 1 base station. I opted to not get the smoke alarm because 1. I already have one and 2. my cooking sets it off 2x a month and when the simplisafe smoke detectors goes off, they send a fire truck. | |I was nervous about installing myself but it was ridiculously easy as was the testing of each sensor to ensure it was working. This is a cellular system and it runs of their cellular not yours. I did not want wires installed which would tear up my home. Even if the cellular is blocked, the alarm will still sound in my house and I will know if someone has entered. There is also a duress pin number you can use if forced to turn off the alarm that will turn off the alarm and notify the dispatch center who will then, immediately, send the police. Monitoring is optional, but cheap and it ranges from 14.99/month to 24.99/month. I've already recommended them to my neighbor when he said he was looking at systems. Oh, another plus, if you should move, all the sensors are easily removed and you can take them with you to your new home.

Description of Work: Purchased a DYI alarm system. It arrived timely but the key pad was not programed. Tried getting them on phone and left message but NO response. Call Angies List and then got a call from Simplisafe the same day. Noticed the yard sign was not in the package and tried call and leaving messages for days. Called Angies List and again got a call from Simplisafe the same day. Product is good but their response to calls w/o contacting Angies List was ZERO.
