Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $259 for a Complete Home Security System + 2 Months of Alarm Monitoring with Remote Management FREE! NO Hidden Fees, NO Contract Required!

Description of Work: There wasn't a service provided, it's self installed. The equipment was easy to install and programmed to connect to the base out of thr box.The key pad is bulky and looks antiqued, the key remote is HUGE we don't even use it. The base is on my refrigerator which isn't far from my room and it's hard to hear with complete silence. With these concerns I would still recommend this system but it does need some updating. Other providers cost is a little higher but I'm sure it's better.

Description of Work: I was not happy with the fact that when I purchased the system the company was supposed to contact me shortly after receiving the order to arrange a schedule, I was never contacted. I had to call the company a few days after the sale since they never called me to discuss the possibility of a change in the sensors included in the package. Unfortunately it was too late and my order was already submitted for shipping, so I had to purchase another motion sensor, and have a freeze sensor that I do not need. I also had to pay to have the new sensor shipped separately. If Simply Safe would have contacted me after the purchase as stated, this might have been avoided.

Description of Work: After yet another large increase in the annual monitoring fee from my previous security company, I was happy to find that SimpliSafe offered a discount on Angie's List. The system was easy to install and assistance was quick & helpful both online and by phone. It qualified me for a discount on my homeowners insurance, and I can expand the system at anytime. The monthly monitoring (no contract) is far more affordable than my previous contracted carrier, and the Angie's List discount made the start-up equipment an excellent buy.

Description of Work: Simplisafe sold me the home alarm system. I will install the equipment. I did purchase an extra motion detector which was $30.00 and it was delivered in a timely manner. The customer service was excellent! |I purchased the alarm system for a condo in Florida. I will install the system when I go down on my next visit.

Description of Work: Simplisafe forwards the instructions and components of the system for the homeowner to install. Installation and set up are in fact simple, and the system works fine. I would add only a couple of cautions. I found that I needed a number of additional components to complete the system increasing my cost to approximately 650. from the original 200.00. I'm not saying that isn't a fair price. For one thing there is no installation cost. Also, the monitoring service at 15.00 per month is less than a third of a number of the major services. A second thing would point out is that the components do not plug in; each has its own battery. I imagine a fairly large job about a year from now replacing all of the batteries. We're very happy with the system and its functionality.
