Description of Work: I bought their security equipment and installed it. It all worked well except the motion sensors picked up our cat, which it wasn't supposed to. After about a dozen false alarms to the police, I finally figured out to set the sensors to the lowest sensitivity and locate them in hallways where an intruder would have to go through.

Description of Work: Best buy security system, wireless with battery backup, real time temp and water security for my NH house while we are in Florida for the winter. The only bummer in the system is that they use an extremely inexpensive and super low capacity AA battery (four) for the backup. Really BAD choice, beancounters!! Fortunately, the battery compartment is easily accessible, and for ten or so bucks you can add four high quality 2500MaH plus batteries yourself. | | Otherwise, beyond this issue, solid A for the cost and performance.

Description of Work: I first sent them a check in December of 2015 but then I don't go to the ranch that much, it's a remote ranch so when they sent me the equipment, it was awhile before I installed it. Then it was another several weeks before I tried to activate it. There was problems with the location and I couldn't handle all the back and forth. SimpliSafe operators were extremely patient with me and I finally told them I was going to cancel the service. I boxed up everything and sent it back to them. We were well past my 30 day free time but they returned my entire check. That was exceptional with a business like this in today's time. I really appreciated it.
