.Approx 4 weeks after I installed the system our home was broken into. The system worked. We were promptly called. The thieves took the outside siren, broke the keypad, took my wife's jewelry box and ran. I am sure we would have been wiped out if not for the security system. When my wife called to order a new siren and keypad, Simplisafe promptly sent us replacements at no charge. Simplisafe works fine, the monitoring service is less than half the price that other companies offer and no monitoring contract is required. I am very pleased.
Description of Work: I found Simplisafe on the internet. I called them and ended up ordering their wireless system. The sales person was knowledgable and polite. After a couple of days of research, I purchased their basic system and then added couple of items to fit my situation. Simplisafe does not offer smoke and carbon monoxide detectors yet but will soon

Simplisafe Alarms is a no contract, self installed system. It is definitely something that suited our needs, we did not want to be locked into a long term contract. I found this company through a web search. It is not a local company. The nice thing is, its only $15 per month for monitoring. We live in a town house so the number of monitoring sensors depends on how many doors and windows you have. The equipment cost came to about $380. I liked the ease of installing it and the low cost for equipment. It is very reasonable and got good reviews from Good Housekeeping, Fox News, New York Times and we felt good a bout the reviews we read. The customer service and the people that monitor are great to work with. We have been pleased in the short time we have had it.
