My handyman installed the initial shipment fairly quickly. I have attached the additional entry sensors and have found it quite easy. They come with adhesive similar to 3M products available at retail stores. All I had to do was remove the protective paper and press on the doors or windows. I don't know if the instructions advise this, but if you buy this product write down the location of each entry sensor and the serial number written on it. My handyman did not do that which is proving a challenge because my keypad says there is something wrong with an entry sensor, but I don't know which one. With the basic package if you have entered the serial number the system will tell you there is a problem with that number. However, it does not tell you the location of that number so be sure to write that down. I have several windows and doors with sensors and haven't had the time to trouble shoot to find which one is causing a problem so I am not using the alarm at the moment. I selected this company primarily because of the low monthly monitoring fee and because they don't require a contract. I have had ADT in previous homes and paid about 3X more per month and had to pay for several years of the contract. I actually sold one house before the contract was up and had to pony up a considerable amount of money because the alarm system in my new house was already there and wasn't ADT.

bought a deal from Angie's List for $199 for a basic alarm system. I liked it because it was expandable, wireless, and I did not need a landline to connect to the monitoring center. The price of monitoring is very reasonable. After buying the basic system 9through Angie's list) I called Simply Safe and ordered all other necessary components. Both the basic system and the extra order arrived very promptly. Installing the system is a breeze, making changes by adding components or addicional extra codes, is really easy . Very happy with the system overall, fortunately I have had no need to check how the response works in a real situation.

The reviews I read before-hand were all true...it took minimal time to install and set-up. I have had traditional alarm systems from national companies in the past. SimpliSafe is very comparable in response times and MUCH cheaper!

I took my time researching various providers of wireless 24/7 alarm systems. In the end, I selected SimpliSafe for several reasons. First, the alarm system and the company itself had good reviews. In my interactions with SimpliSafe, everyone was always professional and answered all my questions. They took the time to hear me out and I never felt rushed or pressured to buy. Their prices for the alarm components, especially with the additional 10% discount through Angie's list, are very reasonable for a good quality system. Yes, you can get an alarm system somewhere else for less but you will end up paying more due to the length of the contract (typically 3 years) and higher monthly fees. With SimpliSafe, it really is simple with no gimmicks. Just buy what you need, no long-term contracts, and choose your level of monitoring, which costs less than all the other alarm companies I researched. The equipment is very easy to install and works as well as I expected. One aspect of their equipment sealed the deal for me - the door/window sensors and magnets can be separated up to 2 full inches. Typically, with others, it might be as little as 1/4 of an inch. This limits your installation options, especially with typical, molded door casing. In my case, I really needed that separation or else I would need to chisel out a flat spot in my casing for the sensor or magnet. Everything worked out of the box and I was up and running in no time. I highly recommend SimpliSafe to anyone considering an alarm system.

Shipped quickly. Easy to install and configure. Several choices for monitoring service, none required; all were fairly cheap and there is no contract, so you can change or cancel any time.

We decided to go with the the Economy package as it provided the level of security we were looking for. As advertised, the system was very easy to install as they provide a step by step instructions on how to set up the system. The customer service has been great. One time I called and did not have time to wait on hold, so I just left my name and number and they returned my call later that day, answering all of my questions. The response time for the monitoring is outstanding, we have had a couple to false alarms (forgot system was armed and opened a door) and got a call immediately from the monitoring service. I would highly recommend them. The price is quite reasonable and you own the equipment with no long term contracts. They gave us one month free monitoring and at only $14.99 a month, we decided to keep it, knowing we can cancel at any time.

The equipment was relatively easy to install after several telephone calls to understand the procedure. You must register with the sheriff dept which was easy. One security module did not work. They quickly sent me a replacement. |Had the system about a month now and everything is going fine.

The portion of the sensor that contains the battery is fairly large. Overall, phone consultation with SimpliSafe was great and my refund was promptly processed.

major cost saving and better flexibility than crusty old alarm companies.

Purchased original $199 offer and loads of extra contacts and "bells and whistles" to cover entire house. Arrived promptly and easy to install.

The package included an item that I could not use. I contacted the vendor to try to substitute another item of equal or lesser cost, but they were not able to help with any substitutions. As a consequence, I now own a type of sensor for which I have no use. The rest of the system performs as advertised.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. So far it has been good. I requested 2 day shipping so I paid extra for that. The deal included 2 free months. It is definitely a good service. There is no contract so that makes sure that they keep giving a good service. The product is reasonably priced. It is very user friendly. It took less than 45 minutes to install all the components. Once I was done with it, I could use it with a cell phone or computer. I added a few extras after I was done, such as fire alarms, water alarms and temperature. Overall I could customize it to my needs. So far it has not been a bad experience. I recommended them to my friends. It is a good value for the money. They were very fast to respond. They shipped on time. They even called to make sure I received the product.

Most other companies have a three year commitment that is very hard to get out of for home security monitoring. This is much less expensive and very easy to do yourself. The company walked us through the process on the phone and they have answered any questions we have promptly. This service is easy to use and a great buy.

The service turned out fine. We were able to install the system. They provided us with the correct paperwork online and there were instruction on how to use the service. We paid extra to have smoke detectors installed. We have had no problems with using the system. You can go online to track how much you have used the system overall.

Everything went great. They gave me a great product. They also have an app I can use on my IPhone for services on my home. It is easy to install, I was able to install it within 45 minutes and it is easy to control. It was delivered to me within a week of ordering it and the instructions were easy to follow. They did lack in communication and it took awhile to get a response from someone.

There is no service needed because it is very easy to setup Simplisafe on your own.

Other than having to email SimpliSafe to ensure that I did get my two free months, the entire process went seamlessly. The service works great and they are very professional. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a simple alarm service.

I had to install myself. it was very easy and when I ran into problem, I called and they fixed me right up. one part was bad, and they sent me a replacement in three days. working fine now.

Easy self install. Called customer service and immediately received answers to my questions. Cats set off motion and call center called my cell immediately.

It was very easy to install & is easy to use. I love the online account management. The dog set off the motion detector and the dispatch responded right away. The only thing is that they say small dogs won't set off the motion sensor, but our 26 lb. dog did set it off.

The alarm system is easy to install. The keypad doubles as a USB drive that lets you customize many aspects of your system on your computer, this is really convenient. We had the system hooked up for about a month before we started the monitoring (only $14.99 per month). Was able to do the entire monitoring setup on their website. The price cannot be beat!! ADT pushes their service hard in my area. Their similar package costs $99 to install and monitoring would cost about $45 per month. Assuming that SimpliSafe actually performs the simple task of calling the police if my alarm goes off, they are a far better value than ADT. Couple warnings they don't tell you, or I didn't see, before you buy. 1. Some cities require a permit for an alarm. This could range from simply registering the alarm to having to get a building permit and have a professional installer. I got lucky, my city only required me to register and pay a one time fee of $10. 2. They advertise that you can get sms messages and check status online. The $14.99 monitoring does not include any of those features. For that you would have to use a different plan that costs more. I didn't need those extras so I was happy at the 14.99 plan.

Called and was put through to customer service. The person was polite, professional and generally helpful. I had order the system with a 10% discount available through Angies list, but neglected to order an extra key chain remote. I asked if they could provide the 10 % code for my additional order, but was told that that was not possible, but that he would give me a free month of call center service. This was more than acceptable and was accomplished. So far I am more then pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone who needs or want an alarm system with a call center for alarms to call first responders. The units I needed cost approx. $ 273 and the call center service to call the police is $ 14.95 per month.
