Great product! Although I wish it would have arrived sooner. We purchased a security system because of some crime in nearby neighborhoods. Had to wait several days for it to arrive. Product was easy to self install and to register. I wish the speaker system and volume level were louder. I will prob look into additional products by this company to enhance.

We upgraded to add additional sensors so there were additional fees. We self installed it. There were no issues while installing it. It was easy.

They are a good company. They are reliable and affordable. They charge about $12 a month, which is a lot better than other companies.

Service and price is terrific. The items came in just a few days and set up was so easy. Saved so much money instead of going with other alarm company and SimpliSafe has great service so far. Very pleased!

I ordered the SimpliSafe security system with a 2-day delivery option to be held at the shipping carrier's location. I never received the merchandise. When I attempted to call the business, they were not open on the weekend therefore, I was unable to discuss this matter with the appropriate personnel. On the following Monday, I made another attempt to contact the company whereby I received a recording to leave a callback number. 2 hours later, a representative called and I was informed that the merchandise was delivered. However, when I told the rep that the carrier could not locate the package or tracking number, it was obvious that the item did not arrive as stated. I never received a tracking number confirmation. I decided to cancel the order as I had concerns as to the reliability of the company and their service. I am unable to verify the effectiveness of the product as I am not in receipt of this item. When I did speak to the representative, they were courteous and accommodating but could not resolve the problem. The "D" grade is based on the absence of the product, limited customer service hours, confusion of the delivery facts, and questions about the logistics of the security system. In theory, this company has a good product but in reality I'm not confident that it will meet my needs.

Easy install. We intend to buy additional pieces like a second motion sensor and more window-door sensors. Best part... gosh, price, ease of install, online video help, center to call for help, interface with computer/phone/ipad you name it, expandable for larger homes, no contract, certificate of coverage for insurance company... Did I forget anything?

Simplisafe responded within hours to technical questions about their sensors and the setup of the system. They responded promptly to both emails and phone calls. Perhaps the most responsive vendor I've dealt with in years. Product set up went as described and was very easy. A problem occurred with the remote programmer/controller but this was not a show-stopper as the on-line system was equally capable. For the homeowner, a good DIY system that is easy to install, flexible and has excellent vendor support.

It arrived on time, it was easy to install and when the alarm triggered (I open a door by mistake) they responded right away. I'll definitely recommend it.

SimpliSafe is a great replacement for more expensive security systems.

I still can't believe it. This system works like a charm. I installed it myself in less than an hour. I love the way this system works. My home insurance was reduced. I can turn on and off the system with my cell phone. This system offers security and peace of mind at a very minimal cost. I am extremely pleased with it!

Items shipped quickly and was easy to install. I had trouble initially getting the base station to recognize a connection to simplisafe, but a quick call to their awesome customer service fixed the issue (on their end) It would be nice if the keypad keys were backlit so I wouldn't need to turn on a light to disarm it. The screen is backlit however.

The product is a self install, very easy as stated really just 15 min. They are very able to answer any questions with a phone call. It's easy to use, lots of nice features.

The battery dependent units eat up new batteries every 30 days. They sent me an additional set of batteries after the first 30 days, but I should not need to constantly be changing batteries. The keypad is on its 3rd set of batteries in 90 days.

I love the mobile monitoring - I get a text when the alarm triggers. The customer service is very responsive. We had the cellular module go bad in our base station and they overnighted a brand new one, no cost, no hassle. I love the fact that they respond quickly to email. I hate being on the phone, but I also work graveshifts, which means I sleep during the day (during everybody's business hours) - so email is the best way for me to communicate. |Very simple to install myself and operate. I love Simplisafe!

I bought the system on a big buy, and installed it myself using the printed directions and video install. Easy, works great, but on caution, monitor the batteries in every unit. They wear out and the components don't work without batteries. Seems sensible but one forgets it and then is without protection if not checked. Do that and the system works great. |I am on first floor with lots of windows but I use two motion detectors and door alarms and feel safe. This is a great system, quick to install, and easy to maintain.

I purchased the Big Deal for this security system, not realizing that they were going to mail it to me and I had to install myself. They were nice people when I had communication with them, but my package was late arriving. I have not yet installed the system.

It turned out pretty well overall. The system works fine and I use it daily so it’s good. The only thing that I have not seen and I think I sent or made a comment in one of the fields on the site that I have not yet seen the cost of the system and then 2 months monitoring which was included the on the Big Deal. When I setup the system to setup the remote monitoring and so forth, I set it up with them and that started right away. I don’t think I never received a credit. I’ve not had a chance to contact them.

I have been trying to contact them for a couple days and their customer service is not good at all. I have sent emails along with calling them and no one calls us back or emails back. They also left us on hold for a long time too. They finally called back today but I do not want to work with them. For a security system they should have much better customer service!

I ordered a SimpliSafe (SS) system using an Angie's List deal, and it shipped after a week or so. We had just moved in so I did not get it installed immediately, but have had it up and running for some time now, and have had no issues. The installation really was simple. I was nervous to do it but once I started I just followed the directions to the letter and I had no issues whatsoever. I just used the adhesives to mount everything, though all of the sensors and keypads also came with screws if you want to use them too. I think the adhesives are working out just fine though, even for the keypads. They seem very secure just using the self stick adhesives. Then I put the motion sensor on top of a shelf since it was in a good place for the best coverage of the room. So for that one I didn't even need to use the self stick adhesives. They put the system on test for 72 hours so you can play around with it before it will send out an alarm call for real. That was nice for getting used to operating it. I also did the testing of every sensor right after I installed everything and it was nice to get feedback that they were all working properly. At my old house I had a security system that was on a contract, and it used Alarm.com for monitoring. This new SS system seems to be working just as well, and it was a significant cost savings for us! I like the SS web site interface better than Alarm.com's since it offers more customization. I did like Alarm.com's smartphone app better though since it offered more features than SS's does, but I hope SS will provide an update at some point to improve the phone app. Overall I am very pleased with the system and am really happy I went this route Vs going with another contract security company. It is a big cost savings, seems to work just as well, and no long term contract! Plus you can take it with you if you move, and that process looks very straightforward as well. I plan to add some more sensors now that I have gained confidence in the system. That also looks to be an easy process and is spelled out on the web interface on how to go about adding more sensors.

The equipment arrived quickly and was easy for me to self install. I did have a problem with a keypad that they quickly replaced with a new one. There were some other glitches in the system that they were able to easily walk me through correcting over the phone. I am very pleased with the system and the monitoring that I signed up for.

We chose Simplisafe because we didn't want to sign a contract with another security company. The products are easy to install and more security items can be purchased in the future.

We purchased a home security system through Simplisafe. The system came promptly and it is simple to install. We had questions about additional motion sensors and the company was very responsive to our emails. They have also provided us with helpful follow up information. I would highly recommend them.
