Inexpensive, self-installed, portable home security system. Equipment came as advertised and was easy to install.

After researching various Home Security options, I went for SimpliSafe and am a VERY Happy user/customer. I would strongly recommend them to anyone and would use this provider in future. It is extremely easy to setup - their website has all the tutorials - you essentially identify all entry/access points in your home incl. windows, doors etc. and purchase sensors and their main unit. You just peel off the stickers and install it on the doors/windows and follow basic instructions on their keypad to set it all up. Their call center is not 24x7 but they are super responsive by email (which works for me).

They supplied motion and window/door sensors, along with a keypad and base station. It all came in a single large package and it is a credit to the clarity and completeness of the instructions that I was able to install the sensors and have them recognized by the base station all by myself in a few hours. The system works as advertized, and I intend to continue my subscription for monitoring. Highly recommended.

I ordered the system online. They offered a great price as well as free shipping. They followed up to make sure everything had gone smoothly. My sister recommended them to me and she was very happy with them as well.

Purchased an all wireless, self-install security system online. Simplisafe products are well made and installation is very easy. They walk you through each step... the entire system was installed and tested in about 30 minutes. Email questions were answered within an hour of sending. Basic monitoring service is only $15/month. They offer additional services for a higher monthly fee, but the basic level work for me. They also have smoke, flooding, and freeze sensors you can add on to your system. I had ADT for the past 5 years. Paid way too much. So far, very happy with Simplisafe.

Simply Safe is a great idea. Making monitored home alarm systems affordable and easy. The problem I see is that they are not very proactive. If your system goes down, they sometimes send you a message after a week. When testing your system, they might not respond if they are experiencing high call volume. So, how are you supposed to know that your system is indeed working? When the call center responds, they just say "we are the alarm monitoring company"... are they outsourcing their monitoring? I don't know, but it does not seems very professional to answer like that._x000D_|Those are my complaints. _x000D_|The service so far has been good. It was a false alarm, one of the sensors fell due the heat, but they responded as expected. I believe this company has grown a lot, but they haven't grown their team to respond to a bigger number of customers. Yes I would recommend it to you, but with that caveat.

Very simple to install.. they are readily available for phone consults, etc..

I've set off the system several times and their response is very quick... So far, no need to have sent out a police response but I trust they will if needed.

This was a terrific, easy, and affordable DIY solution for home security. Monitoring costs are minimal and the technology works flawlessly. And because it is cell phone based, the monitoring works regardless of power failures and phone system failures.

They send the components with instructions and I performed the set up and installation. It was relatively simple. Then I obtained a city permit for an alarm system and activated it. It is totally wireless. They provide ongoing monitoring service for what was $14.95 per month that has since increased to $19.95 per month.

The only issue I had was finding a place for the main station where it would get the best reception, but customer service was very helpful finding a spot. It has worked great ever since.

They are an excellent company for home security. They prevented a break-in to our house, worth every penny.

This system is super easy to install and use. No landline necessary and its all wireless. You can customize your equipment to fit your budget. They mail it to you and you install it yourself. I feel so much safer now. They call me to let me know if my base unit loses communication with them, which usually means the battery needs replacing. I am very happy with SimpliSafe. You purchase the equipment, which is a wireless system, at a reasonable price. Then you may choose one of three monitoring plans. No monitoring, theft only or fire, water etc. The theft or intruder only is 15.00 per month. Dollar for dollar it really is not a bad alarm company.$15 per month.

This is less than 25.00/month compared to another security service used by my friend at 54.99/mo. Completely happy with SimpliSafe and highly recommend their products and services.

Very easy to install. Only complaint I had to use additional adhesive after a few sensor magnets failed to stick properly.
