I purchased alarm system. Installed myself in less than 1hour. Totally wireless. Base station is the size of a small vase. The equipment is mine. If I move it goes with me. Great product for the price. I would recommend this product. No contracts to sign, cancel service anytime. The only thing I pay for is the monitoring service.

Easy to do and very reasonable. I like having the Emergency Button to wear on a chain around my neck in case of falls. At $19.99 a month for BOTH a security system and an alert system it's hard to beat. Also set up "wireless" so there really is no way for a thief to bypass it. |

Supplied home alarm system. DIY installation was very simple.

I order a system with sensors for my doors and windows (entry points). Approximate cost for system was ~ $500.00. Monthly monitoring is $15.00. System is wireless with battery backup. Works if power is lost, and also has satellite connectivity with their monitoring service. So far, it has worked fine, and they are very responsive.

I bought this wireless alarm system for my daughter who was living in a ground floor apt. in Boston. It gave her a sense of security and me piece of mind. We set it up and it worked really well. She hooked into a central security system and paid a monthly rate. I would definitely recommend it!

It went very smoothly, and we are not good at installing things.

Update: The company has changed the receiver and we are no longer loosing the signal. The service works very reliably now. Great job by their customer service department responding to the issue and correcting it.

The company's tech support is a quick phone call away and they are most helpful.

We installed this system in my daughters home in less than 30 minutes. Working with the company to set up the passwords and tests was quick and easy. The system is working just great and the company was fast to contact when a door blew open setting off the alarm. This is much less expensive than the "wired" systems, can be moved and taken with you to a new place, is easy to install and monthly monitoring is very reasonable. We will definitely be using them should we need another system.

Installing the wireless system and sensors was amazingly easy. There is no ongoing contractual requirement, which means that I can cancel at any time if I am dissatisfied. I have had the service for over a year and feel that it is a terrific bargain compared to other security systems.

We ordered the security system for my daughter's apartment in Philadelphia. The system is not hard wired, so portability was a plus. The system is easy to install and manage. The only issue that we had was that the system can only be ordered to be delivered through the mail. The SimpliSafe distribution center is only a short distance from my home, but we needed to pay for shipping because the system cannot be purchased retail or picked up in person (at least at that time).

This is a home security system you install yourself. It doesn't take the 15 minutes that they claim but with 2 phone calls to them, it took about 2 hrs. It's battery powered, so there's no wiring. For one version, the alarm sounds if there's a break-in. For $15 per month, they monitor it and will call the police if you don't respond with password when they call. It's much cheaper than the competition such as ADT which is about $35 per month. I've had it about a year and I'm quite satisfied with it.

They corrected a text messaging response problem. it took several phone calls to have the problem corrected but I was also dealing with my telephone provider and the coordination between both companies is what took a couple calls. It was SimpliSafe that finally fixed the problem.

If you can program an alarm clock, you can handle a SimpliSafe system. Support has been good.

Customer service, when needed, has been prompt and helpful.

Easy to install. If she does not test the system periodically, they call her to see if the system is still functioning properly. One piece of hardware failed in November, and SimpliSafe sent a new one quickly. Everything else is working well. My last contact was only to update billing info.

I purchased this alarm after reading about it from Dave Ramsey as a way to save over traditional alarm companies. It was a flop for contact to a call center. The satellites didn't receive the cell signal in my area so 90% of time the alarm would not communicate with center. OK if you don't want anything but audible notification at home. I went with ADT after all and am happy with that.

Been a Simplisafe customer since September 2012 (after two break-ins and theft at a property I am renovating. The third time some scoundrels came, the alarm system motion sensors triggered and scared them off, so it works!). Very pleased with their customer service and promptness responding to requests for additional equipment and sensors. Their customer service is very helpful and patient when walking through some installation and system reset questions). No long-term contract and much lower prices than competing alarm services. I also like the wireless aspect (makes system very easy to install)and cellular link for monitoring (last thieves sophisticated enough to try to disconnect the land lines for the phone, which would defeat an alarm system hard-wired to the house phone for monitoring service). They also offer an upgrade for a few dollars more per month to be able to use a smart phone to remotely arm/disarm the alarm system. Well worth the price for the piece of mind when away from home. I have recommended Simplisafe to friends and relatives.

Everything came timely and arrived. However, I thought I was missing the actual siren, but apparently did read that it is not included in the bundled price. It can be purchased separately.

It went fine. I was just for the buying of the equipment. It costed for about three times as much because it was a base kit and I had to buy the other pieces and install them. It's an alarm system so it's the base of the alarm system. I needed to buy the rest of the pieces and I needed to install them myself. I assumed that there's a number that I can call if I needed help in installing it. I didn't need to call it because it was pretty easy to install it. It's a complete home security system if you live in a house with one door and three windows. I read that it's coming and I know that. What made me decide to choose them for my alarm system was the different reviews I read on Angie's List and other places as well. This one had better reviews as far as their ability and equipemnt. It's working well and it's doing what it's supposed to do. I have sensors and alarm boxes that goes off if any unexpected activity happens. For this kind of system, the price is pretty typical. When I ordered for more pieces, they were nice on the phone.

No hidden costs, setup is extremely simple, and the monitoring company is great (Monitoring is optional). I would highly recommend.
