Bought system online. Easy to install, just peel and stick sensors. I opted for the outside alarm also and it works. Something fell in my house while I was away and it triggered the motion detector. My outside alarm went off, my neighbor called me, alarm company called me and notified local police. It works. Monitoring (optional) is $15/month. System can be scaled up. I bought extra sensors and outside alarm. If you move, you can take it with you.

I have been wanting a monitored home security system for some time but was hesitant on getting one of the big 3 becuase of monthly monitoring costs and 3 year monitoring contracts. I came across the SimpliSafe system on Angie's List and did some research on other sites to see how it was rated and if it would satisfy my needs. The reviews I read told me that this was a solid system easily able to handle my home needs so I purchased it. I had Initially placed an order through the Angie's List website but I called SimpliSafe to adjust the number of sensors I needed. After explaining why I called, the customer service rep was able to find my order and make the changes. I told him that I saw other discounts on Angie's List site but I wasn't sure they applied. He gave me an additional 10% off the extra sensors and an additional Control pad free of charge. That saved me money in addition to the original Angie's List deal or $259.00. The equipment was delivered within 3 days. The instructions are comprehensive and explain all you need to know about installation and I had the system installed in about an hour. Now I have a secure monitored home, without a contract for under $320.00 and a monthly fee of $24.99. Best of alll there is no contract. I'm very happy with the system and have recommended it to my friends.

|I only had one call back early on during an installation when I inadvertently tripped a motion sensor. SimpliSafe called within 30 seconds to ask for the security/disarm code. Very rapid service; I couldn't be happier.

I've had security systems installed and monitored in 7 houses over the years. Installation was always several thousand dollars and monthly monitoring was relatively expensive. I didn't want to go to a lot of expense when we moved to a temporary apartment so I went with SimpliSafe. It was exactly what was promised-inexpensive and easy to install (and I'm not handy). Monthly monitoring is a fraction of what I had been paying with my previous security company. I'll likely use SimpliSafe again when my new house is finished.

The monthly charges for the monitoring are about 1/3 of the cost of other competitors.

We installed the unit ourselves after it arrived in the mail. I did have to call them to go over the installation process and they were very helpful. It was fine and we are happy with the system as it is good.

The system works like advertised. Keep feeling like I will be billed with the real cost of the security system, but it's just the up-front cost of the hardware and $14/mo for monitoring - incredible considering those others that make u sign a contract. Had a false alarm and SimpliSafe monitoring people called right away. It just works and I feel like I'm in control rather than at the mercy of a contract.

Simplisafe is excellent for my properties under renovation.I can move the system from one property to the other and I do not have to pay for services between renovations.

It is simple to install, although we had some trouble with adhesive on sensors by doors. I double stuck them with duct tape. My only other concern is when dispatch calls my number, it is not the company number. SimpliSafe said it is a different company. I did not answer the number. However, as the police officer told me, if my phone rings, I better pick it up.

Entryway alarm system. Self install, very easy to do. System works well, they are responsive when alarm in set off. Phone call within a minute. Nice simple system and reasonable monitoring.

we were having a problem with connecting to the call center and they sent us a new wireless module and when we received it we called and they talked us through getting it up and it is working fine now. we live in a rural area and call signal is mediocre at best, but with the new module we have had no problems. We are very pleased with the help that they provide without cost to us and they are very patient to stay on the phone with us until the problem is resolved. We would highly recommend this company. service is awesome and very inexpensive to purchase compared with others out there. Monthly service charges are also minimal..

As far as DIY security systems go, we are extremely pleased with SimpliSafe. We pay $14.99/month for the monitoring, and we can change or cancel our contract online at any time, as well as see a list of all the times our alarm has been turned on and off (helpful for monitoring house sitters). The few times our alarm has been tested, they respond immediately by phone. After being solicited by the several larger home security firms around, buying our own wireless equipment that we can take with us (as military, we move often) has already paid itself off in the six months since installation compared to wired brand-name systems. Highly recommended.

The system was super easy to setup and the representatives are very helpful with any questions.You do not have to pay for the monthly service but I find it super cheap with no contracts to give me and my family peace of mind.

You can buy as much security as you want or just the basics. They did not try to pressure me into buying a bunch of stuff I did not need.The monthly monitoring fee is the best out there. The basic fire and security monitoring (monthly) is about $15.00 and it qualifies for reductions on your home insurance. Very easy to install.

They have been responsive in a very supportive way with equipment. The equipment was very affordable and the monthly cost is excellent at 19.99. Everything about them is GREAT!!
