HALEY HOUSE BAKERY CAFE

We were really excited to use this organization because of how much they give back to their community. The Haley House teaches young adults who have troubled backgrounds how to cook/work in the food service industry. They have a lot of really noble goals and we were happy to be supporting them through ordering catering. The catering arrived on time and was visually very nice. We LOVED the ginger slaw that they'd brought (they were nice enough to make a green salad and a slaw instead of packaging a salad for each individual lunch) and we really liked the desserts, they were all really great. Some of the sandwiches left something to be desired though. Several people took bites of the jerk chicken sandwich and just left the rest on their plate untouched. Overall it was still a pretty good experience but I think in the futre we'd order the pizza or just more of the sides (the mac and cheese looks tempting).
