I dealt with Ivan before the move and said everything up his guys arrive 15 minutes early worked unbelievable got the job finished early under estimate and I can’t have a nice enough good things to say about them very happy with the move. too many hidden cost

They were organized, fast, efficient, professional and careful. My quote was spot on, they were very upfront about any potential additional costs that might be factored in - for example, things they might need to custom pack. None of my belongings were damaged in the move, and they showed up on-time, and were very organized. I'll use them again for future moves.

One word to describe my experience NIGHTMARE!Day we moved they didn't send a big enough truck.Sent another truck next morning & it wouldn't start for 3 hours.Numerous items broken from end tables,chair,frames, etc.Crew stood outside my home smoking sitting around taking their sweet time.Best part I sat & watched one of the crew drop a box of statues and they broke.The guy tried to hide broke pieces & told me nothing broke.I had two cribs to be put together & they broke one crib & the second one was missing screws and the side was put on backwards.2 out 3 guys didn't speak english I couldn't communicate with them.The woman in office SO RUDE!

The most stress free, efficient and enjoyable move I could possibly imagine. Crew showed up early and worked non-stop, 7-8 hours a day, for 2 days. Disassembled, packed, transported, unpacked and reassembled everything with extreme efficiency AND caution. Nothing was damaged. Managed to move some massive furniture other movers couldn't. Pleasant, professional and honest. Owner personally provided a flat rate quote and they stuck to it - although we were so happy at the end we tipped the movers 20%. Price was still HALF what Gentle Ginat charged a co-worker after they packed his stuff on the truck and doubled his price

The movers were very knowledge and took good care of my items. They did work quickly and put everything where I asked them to. They did a good job.

Different price quotes. Overcharged and when we called for refund, they never called back. Very difficult to deal with for a very simple mover

The move went well, all things considered. They underestimated how much time it would take to pack and how many trucks it would take. They managed to get it done anyway. They were very polite and courteous. Hector was very easy to communicate with. They didn't get the kids' play house put back together, and given the late hour they said they would come back to do this. I called to schedule this and although it could not be done right away, they did schedule it and show up a few weeks later. The house was put back together and they also picked up the majority of the boxes we had used in the move for recycling.

They were very professional and careful with all items they moved. I would recommend and use them in the future.

It was a tremendous relief knowing I was in the capable hands of professional movers (they arrived on time, moved quickly but thoroughly so as not to damage anything and were very accomodating). I was also impressed by my first contact with Carmel Movers when I spoke to their customer service rep, Ivan.

Moved within same state from duplex to house. Moving crew was very professional. Packed all my items carefully (I have antiques as well as furniture from Europe) and unloaded all items without any damage. Very good customer service with the company (Vivo and Ivan - thank you!). I can only recomment Carmel Movers.

VERY expensive. The quality of the move was horrible. I am still missing items and finding things broken. The service level was not what was promised. I asked for a complete pack, unpack, move, storage, and move back in to the same building for renovations. I was promised that all items would be moved back to their original locations. Instead, I was left with stacked boxes and a crew that didn't speak english.

They showed up on time, worked very hard, even through a snow storm, and were professional, clean, and pleasant. The cost was higher than the estimate -- most likely due to the snow storm (it slowed everything down, as it was much harder to move around on the ice.). We were very pleased.

It seemed like they were constantly doing something and moving my things. This kept our time down from our original estimate. The movers did, however, ruin our new paint job on the risers of our staircase in small areas. But, overall, I would recommend them because they were the best price I found for everything they included (unlimited packing tape, seran-wrapping all our belongings (to keep them clean in transport) and wardobe units for easy transport of everything on hangers.

This moving service was exceptional from the very first contact via internet and phone to concluding the actual move. The movers were fast, efficient, and polite. And the company offered the best quote for the Boston area. I would certain recommend them and hire them again.

The movers did a good job. The only problem I had was the final payment arrangements. I was not told I would need to pay an extra 3% if I used my credit card. I had to borrow money from my partner to pay with almost $200.00 dollars cash. Thr movers divided the money in the parking lot of the storage company. I would never be able to use this company for a long distance move, It would be unreasonable to have large amounts of cash or face a surcharge for using a credit card that was already accepted for a deposit for the same move. I was told I could pay with a certified check. How could I know the exact amount for that type of check.

I have used other Movers in the past and found them to be slow, taking too many breaks, etc. These men were hard-working, quick and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone and I will use them again for my next move.
